Product is Great… Best Buy Sucks
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Again.. Product is fantastic. However Best Buy wouldn’t price match when on their own site the price lowered. The answer that they gave me was because I bought it online and traded in an old pair I wasn’t eligible for price match. Whatever.. And then I tried writing a review for a garbage Gamesir G7 Pro and how they knew it had issues. They wouldn’t let me write the review. And the last straw. They really don’t identify their 3rd party sellers and how awful most of them are. You can’t even purchase a protection plan on most of the goods sold through them. Best Buy has gotten cheap and shady and I’m thankful I never have to choose them as a retailer again.

Dont buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Terrible product, its mindblowing all these people didnt catch a huge flaw with these. Gen 1 uses full power anc on quiet mode and immersion modes(not aware mode), but gen 2 uses adaptive(which gen 1 supposedly uses, but uses it right anyway)which means changing at all times, but these people dont notice because the anc is still at 50 perecnt and the music is loud enough so they dont know its lowering your anc at all times and making it so i hear backgound noise all the time. Stick with gen 1 unless u dont care about anc stability. To check this put on quiet mode and then quickly play a song at medium volume, then quickly pause and listen to the anc change, no way to change this. Dumbest pair of headphones i ever bought, super bummed.

Not good
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I bought these based off of another persons opinion of owning a pair. My Apple headphones had just died and I needed a new pair of headphones. So I bent the knee and bought one of these. Immediately realized I made a mistake. The “noise cancelling” is terrible and I can hear everyone talking and having a normal volumed conversation through the speakers. It has three modes: aware, quiet and immersion. Both the quiet and immersion are pretty much the same same and have no real difference. I’d recommend just getting a pair of the new beats tbh.

Not worth upgrading if you have Gen 1,
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who was upgrading from the First gen. I'm actually disappointed in some ways how this is a downgrade. First off the ear cuffs were somehow more uncomfortable than the last model and I was starting to feel pain around the ear and in turn, was starting to get a headaches from wearing it, and what makes it even worst is that I bought 3rd party replacements for the ear cushions on the gen 1 and that gave me a better cushion than the new ones. And because I'm upgrading from the previous version, there is no one to justify paying again over 450 dollars for a worst version of headphones in terms of comfort. And the fact that the Gen 2 should not even be called gen 2, this a gen 1.5 upgrade that's somehow charging the price of a new version. Deeply disappointed this time around.

Posted .Thank you for sharing your feedback! The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) are obsessively engineered with our best noise cancellation and spatialized audio for immersive listening. Every note expands, every piece of dialogue hits harder, and every melody fills the space around you. Crafted with luxurious materials, they offer exceptional comfort and a premium design, perfect for long listening sessions. One standout feature is ActiveSense, which, when enabled in Aware Mode, automatically adjusts noise cancellation based on your environment’s noise level. This helps maintain consistent ambient sound awareness without letting loud interruptions, like a coffee grinder or blender, drown out your music.
The headphones also feature intuitive controls on the right earcup: a Bluetooth/power button, a multi-function button, and a capacitive volume/shortcut strip. These allow you to manage power, pairing, playback, calls, and listening modes. Additionally, on-head/off-head detection supports auto-pause, wake/sleep, and customizable auto-off settings via the Bose app. Altogether, these features make the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) a powerful and user-friendly choice for immersive audio experiences.

Don't sleep with Bose on!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned after two weeks. Not comfortable to sleep in and the right side started to only work sometimes. Yes, I know they aren't for sleeping but my husband snores and I can't sleep. I purchased the Beats Studio Pro and they work much better for my issues. At first the sound quality was great, just didn't last.

Posted .Hi Stacy, thank you for sharing your experience with the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen). We’re glad to hear you initially enjoyed the sound quality and design, but we’re truly sorry they didn’t meet your needs. The Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen) were designed to enhance your listening experience with music, but they were not intended for sleeping, so wearing them while lying on your side can understandably cause discomfort.
Side-sleeping with headphones often puts pressure on the ear and the device itself, which can bend or loosen parts over time. This may reduce comfort and, in some cases, affect performance (such as one side not working properly).
We truly appreciate your feedback, and we’ll make sure it’s shared with our product team. We hope you’re able to find headphones that better suit your needs for sleeping, and we’d be happy to assist you if you decide to explore Bose products again in the future.
