The sound quality is perhaps the best out of any headphones that I have had. While they get loud, they do not get as loud as some other comparable headphones, but in this case it is a good thing since I do not need to blast the volume up to hear everything properly. These headphones are very comfy on my ears and the frame is very flexible. Overall, I think these are my favorite pair of headphones that I have owned.

I had high hopes for the Bose QC Ultra 2nd Gen headphones. They have great sound quality matched with supreme comfort and generally good noise cancellation functions. On top of that, they've added a lossless audio feature and a touch volume control bar, really positioning these to be market leading. But the first time I used these on an airplane, it was clear that they have a significant flaw in their active noise cancellation algorithm. Major bumps and bangs in the airplane (going through turbulence, as an example) cause a series of audible pops and clicks that make these borderline unusable in that scenario. I may have a faulty unit, but spending two minutes online has uncovered this as a significant flaw in Bose's design of these headphones. Unfortunately, I didn't discover this issue inside the return window so I guess I'm stuck with these. Had I known, I'd have opted for the Sony XM6, which is a shame because those aren't as comfortable. Overall, very disappointed in Bose for this headset as it's one major flaw away from being a perfect headset for me.

Bought these to see if I liked them more than my Sony WXM400 and 500 noise canceling headphones. I don't but it doesn't have anything to do with their sound. They sound great. They way they fit over my ears is the problem. They just aren't big enough? I guess? I can't wear them with earrings and overall, they just don't sit right. I still use - mostly out of guilt but I will stick with the Sonys next time. Also, they don't seem to pair with multiple devices or at least they won't for me. For the Bose Believers - I tried. For the Sony Stans - the grass isn't greener. In fact, it pricks.

This is my second pair of QC Ultras, and I will admit the only reason I purchased them was that purple is one of my favorite colors. As always, the Bose sound quality is unmatched. The headphones pair easily and are very comfortable to wear. Now what do I do with the Gen 1s? My nephew will probably be very happy.

The noise cancellation works really well, and the Bluetooth connection is quick and reliable. The build quality feels premium, and the battery life is great. Overall, an excellent pair of headphones and definitely worth the money. Highly recommended!
