I’ve owned a good amount of Bose headphones and their quality, durability and sound quality have always been top tier for me. Used them through 2 deployments and never had any issues. Unfortunately, I can’t say that for these. The constant, random disconnections from the phone. The numerous times they wouldn’t sync with each other (audio would be ahead on one, not the other). The repeated times they would shut down and be non responsive with a supposed 90% battery remaining.

Fantastic earbuds...for about 18 months

They sound fantastic and the noise cancellation is amazing. However, both sets lasted me about 18 months each before the adhesive that holds the body of the buds together failed. Both times this happened the speaker failed, likely due to a broken connection. I love these buds when they work, and have been a big fan of Bose for a long time, but I'm going to have to explore other options that are more durable.

The buds do transmit some wind noise during road cycling and the transparency mode could be a bit louder as to the outside world.

The bass is actually decent compared to Beats and Apple Pro. The only issue I have is using them while running. It slightly hurts my ears with every step.
