    I bought these ear buds as a gift, but could not get them to function properly. Then Best Buy said too late to return. very disappointed.

    Amazing sound when playing music / poor for calls

    I dislike it when you made calls because the receiving end always complained they could hear everything but you in the background.

    Sound was amazing but the left earpiece started having static noices before one week of purchase

    The quality of the Noise Canceling has diminished. Also, there is a high-pitched squeak in the ear, which is unacceptable and damaging to hearing. In addition, the battery warning voice and sounding system is very annoying.

      Hello Tim, I'm sorry to hear of your disappointment with your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. If you feel the noise cancelling isn't working as it should be, then make sure "ActiveSense" is turned off in the app. This setting activates noise cancelling, but only whenever any loud noises near you are detected. You can also turn off the battery voice prompts in the app, by going to Settings > Preferences and then selecting the "Voice Prompts" option. As for the high-pitched squeak you mentioned, we'd like to take a closer look at that, to see if it's expected behavior or not.     Terrible taking then back

    quiet comfort were much better. They just stopped working. I had 2 pairs. Both were returned. Them i got the Bose quietcomfort ultra. A complete waste of money. The noise  cancellation dpes the oppsite. Whenever it tries to cancel noise. It has a loud pop or bop sound. It almost hurt your ears. Very uncomfortable. And to make matters worse. We have to buy insurance each time we return this product. Which is a SCAM.

    Ignore the BOSE Responses , the left ear is faulty

    DO NOT buy, search reviews on here for "static". The issue is the left earbud. Bose is pasting a cookie cutter response which does not have to do with this product. Its a known issue and instead of saying its a badly engineered product they have you go through hoops to no avail. When its quiet you hear the static, digital sound only in the left ear. Check online in other forums as well.

    The first edition of these headphones were perfect, the last two editions are horrible fit, and blew put in less than a month

    Over all they are nice but had to return them because if you wanna use just one ear bud it can only by the right.

      Regarding your concern about using a single earbud, we understand the importance of flexibility. This is why the earbuds Ultra can be used independently for both listening to music and Phone Calls. For optimal Noise Cancellation, we do however recommend using both buds.

    Defective ear buds

    While running, the headphones change setting from quiet, to allaire etc just randomly. I'm not even touching my headphones/ears and its changing. I'm not sure why it does this. Also, there is a cracking noise in one earbud that makes it seem defective. This started within the 1st month of using them and It comes and goes during my workouts. I'm really disappointed.

    Very disappointed. I was promised a 2 day delivery and it took 2 weeks. When they did arrive the did not work. They had a lot of static on both ears. I reached out to Best Buy for replacements. I was told I would have them in 1 day. I returned the bad ones and it’s been well over a week and still no replacements. Best Buy has been extremely challenging at best to deal.
