I always have a problem with finding the right sized earbuds. For some reason earbuds dont stay in my left ear, they fall right out. These fit great and stay in place for hours. Theres plenty of other reviews detailing the amazing sound quality, but that doesnt matter unless you can actually wear the earbuds.

Very comfortable and stay in your ear. The sound quality is amazing and using the Bose app makes adjusting the sound easy. Excellent noise cancelling as well. Highly recommend these ear buds

These a great earbuds. I feel the price is a little outrageous given the comparative quality of other brands. These feel great in the ear and the immersive mode definitely delivers. Can't go wrong with Bose.

I have been using Bose for the last 10 years. These are nice noise cancelling headphones, and if you can swing the price tag go for it. Be aware though they are easy to lose. Lately, which I only dealt with from this line and the prior rendition is a slight connectivity issue with my apple devices. Otherwise 10/10

These earbuds are amazing! They fit perfect; the sound is absolutely amazing - try the immersion - it's as if the music envelopes you. I've owned ipods (all versions) and beats and you can not go wrong with these.

The sound quality and noise cancelation of these headphones are definitely outstanding. However, the tap commands/connectivity is abysmal. You have to tap several times and several different angles to get it to skip a song etc. That's the only drawback

The sound quality is excellent, however, everyone I talk to over the phone has the complaint that the pic pucks up to much background noise. I have to switch from Bluetooth to hand-held in order to have a conversation. Also, after 7 months, I am now having connectivity issues. 90% of the time, I have to re-dock the ear buds in the case in order to connect to my phone. This started happening about 3 weeks ago.

Hi Rolando, I'm glad you're impressed by the sound quality of your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds! If you're having connectivity issues, try rebooting your smartphone, as this can help stabilise the connection. Also try a reset of the earbuds, see here: https://bose.life/qcufr. If the mic on your earbuds is picking up too much background noise, try moving to a quieter environment, and make sure the mic holes on your earbuds aren't being blocked. If issues on calls persist, our support team will be happy to assist, see here: https://bose.life/3rykPZR. Warm regards, Fiona M. - Bose Customer Support bose

Great earbuds. I was worried they wouldn't be as good as my previous earbuds for sweaty running or listening in the sauna, but these have held up well. They have survived being around the pool, 20-30 minute sauna sessions and the humidity of runs in Nicaragua. The sound quite and immersive sound options are amazing for flying also; it eliminates the plane and background noise. Highly recommend.

These are actually an improvement over the comfort 2s. Transparency mode is clearer and so is the sound. Still no multi point connection which is ridiculous at this price point.

Once you get the right fit (ear tips, and wings) these are perfect for the gym. Mic quality is doable, but don’t expect studio level.

I bought these over 6 months ago so have had plenty of time to give an honest review. I have to say that I have owned many Bose products and have alway been pleased. I had a pair of Bose Sports earbuds and several pairs of over the ear noise canceling Bose headphone and have never had any issues. And the sound of Bose has in my opinion always been superior to other brands I own like Apple AirPods and Sony. That said, these also sounds great. But the technology is problematic. I use these every day during workouts. And at least 40% of the time when I take them out of their case and put them in my ears, one will not connect. And about 10% of the time that I put them back in the case and take them back out, the other one does not connect. They are also hard to get out of their case. Not well designed. Generally they sound great but do not work all the time.

Hi Tom, I'm sorry to see that your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds don't quite match the experience you've had with your other Bose products. I'm glad you like their sound, but if one earbud isn't connecting, then wait until the first (right) earbud has fully connected and announces the battery level. Then, take the left earbud out and do the same. If this process doesn't help, then let's try some troubleshooting. I rate this product as 4 stars for the following reasons. Pros 1) the sound quality is absolutely fantastic, and the app really gives you the ability to customize how they sound. 2) they seem to be rather durable and the build quality is good. 3) the call options are really sound. Over all the pros outweigh the only cons. Cons 1) they are extremely uncomfortable no matter what size i change the rubber pieces thag came with them too. Maybe its just my ears, but if i wear them for more than 20 minutes i get a wicked ear ache. Its not a volume issue, its the over all fit. Are the worth the premium price? Id say yes. 4 stars for a quality product. Minus 1 star for the way they fit.

I love Bose so I shopped around and I got these earbuds. They’re my first in ear earbuds. I’ve had beats over the ear earbuds before they are comfortable. They stay charged easy to use. Totally awesome. Stop reviewing other earbuds and get these worth every penny!

Good sound, can't disable touch, clunky interface

They have good sound, but lack a few essential features and aren't extremely intuitive. I'm planning to return them today because figuring out they're both missing a key feature I need for a daily use pair of buds and have clunky controls was a dealbreaker. They do not allow you to disable the touch controls, so if these are buds you plan to wear with anything that might so much as brush against your ears they're going to frustrate you. The app only connects to the buds if the case is open, and the buds are a little difficult to pull out and put back in. I discovered this after hours of frustration while trying to get them to finish installing an update that took 45 uninterrupted minutes on the app. Closing the case interrupts the updates and disconnects the app. The app tells you to insert the buds and hold the button down to make a blue light flash which doesn't seem to happen until you disconnect the buds from your phones bluetooth or when it finally makes up its mind what state it should be in. It's pretty wacky, I'm not about to do science experiments to figure out the state machines for their earbuds. Is the sound and noise cancelling pretty good? Yes. Are the features user friendly and intuitive? No. Who designs a modern pair of earbuds and doesn't allow for the touch buttons to be disabled? And who makes the app reliant on the box being open? Why does it take 45+ minutes to download an update? That's not a good design, especially not one worth $250 in my mind. I'm obviously paying for sound quality and not features at this point but I'd take lower sound quality over the frustration it caused me personally. I'm sure these buds have a target consumer. The sound is pretty great and the noise cancelling is effective. If you don't need to disable the touch controls and don't think you'll need to regularly change settings with your phone they'll get the job done. I just can't abide the missing feature and the fact I can't use the app without leaving the case open. (Including the several times I've connected to them on the app when it wasn't actually connected to my phone.)

Thanks for your review of the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds, Raishin! While I'm happy to see you've been enjoying the Bose sound and noise cancellation, I'm sad to hear that you're thinking of returning your earbuds.

It's true that, on the first use, an update may need to be installed. This is so you can begin using all the latest features and enhancements of your earbuds. While the first update can take up to 45 minutes to complete, you can still use your earbuds while the update is underway. Please keep the earbuds out of the case during this process.

Before you return your earbuds, I would suggest getting in touch with our customer support team. We can then also take a closer look at the touch controls that seem to be sensitive to the headgear you're wearing. We look forward to hearing from you, so we can establish what exactly is happening there: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US.
