If the person you're talking to hears a lot of background noise, try making a call from a quieter environment. Also, make sure your earbuds are oriented for the best mic performance, i.e. with the Bose logo pointed towards your mouth or chin. Our support team will also assist you, if issues persist on calls. Recently, about one month ago, beside the crunchy noises, they started doing other strange things, jumping from an apparent disconnection to another effect, kind of swapping audio between both ear pieces, sometimes several times in one period of use, sometimes ok for days… definitely disappointed. Best Buy exchanged them, so I will try luck again, because when they work, they are very good.
