Bose has made almost the perfect earbuds! These earbuds are extremely comfortable with new simple toich controls on each earbud. Easy conection to devices for quick listening. I wish the battery life was slightly longer in imersion mode and hopefully soom there will be a locate my earbuds in the app for when they get misplaced. The ultra series believe it or not does not have that feature as of yet? I have recommended them to everyone that has high taste for sound quality! Thank you Bose!

Volume is low, connection issues, earbuds are sensitive to touch as well. My hair would barely touch the earbud and it would pause/skip to next song. Battery life is good though.

The ultra earbuds are 2nd to none. I’ve had the last 4-5 generations of earbuds back to the sport ones with the connecting wire to drape them on your neck.

Best audio out there but thats all. Connecting issues at least every week after 2 months, have to hard reset everytime it happens average battery life (5 hours continuous) on full charge. But no customer or video support for better Bluetooth connection for all devices (apple, samsung, etc. ) wouldn't recommend until visible improvement on easy connection down the line.

The sound is amazing but the connectivity is horrendous. The headphone would not stay commected to my phone for longer than 20 minutes somtimes. It would randomly call people & drop calls! Would not recommend! I ended up getting the Powerbeats pro 2’s! Which i love & would say save your money on these and go to beats!

I bought these and a competitor's I won't mention so I don't sound like I am pushing something. -I am SHOCKED and mad that I am returning these. I can't believe I have to keep the pair of true wireless headphones that costs significantly MORE, and are genuinely out classed, along with every other brand, when it comes to noise canceling. So why am I keeping something "inferior" and returning these? Well, here goes: - The Bose's ergonomics make wonder if they have ever seen a human ear. - The smartphone application, Bose Music, for all real intents and purposes, must be used. (Stop it. Yes, it does.) - Bose is VERY proud of their "immersive" setting within Bose Music. And they have a right to be, it is very impressive. But all they did was knock the top two levels off the noise canceling slider and put them in another area of the app. If you like podcasts you will struggle as you have to adjust the app and you can't use the app. - They are being nicer to their competitors than they mean to be by doing this. Bose Music has 10 noise canceling levels. The best competitor out there is MAYBE up to Bose's level 8. But the tuning isn't as good even if we say the others are at an 8. Then there are not one but TWO God-Mode noise canceling levels after that. They just are without equal. BUT, they are in another tab and your options are Off, Immersive Still and Immersive Motion. If Bose would just put them in the same tab as the noise canceling slider and I would put up with the connectivity issues. Bose would be less full of themselves if they put them in the same tab but called the choices: "So Much Better Than Everyone Else Option 1" and "Bottom-of-the-Mariana's-Trench-Quiet (You know we could totally blow your ear drums right now way WORSE than Mariana ever imagined, right?) Option 2" Come on... - I bought a THIN plastic and silicone aftermarket cover to protect the nice Bose charging case. Basically a Faraday cage with a signal that already struggles. It's not my devices. I have an I-phone 12 I think, work phone, and a Samsung Fold5. So I am not trying to hook these up to some 2003 Motorola Razor. For ME noise canceling is THE most important thing. I would keep these over anything else IF I COULD USE THEM with any semblance of reliability even though: Bose don't fit as well, don't look as good, don't sound as good, the app barely works, when it does it is full of bloat settings, and their closest competitor costs significantly more. Sometimes it be like hey Bose, zip it and take my money and they still lost me as a consumer. Killin'meMan.

Thank you for your review. I'm sorry to hear that you weren't convinced by the design of the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds and the Bose Music app. We attempt to design products and apps that cater to the tastes of as large a customer base as possible.

As for Immersive Audio, this function is designed to increase the life-like experience of listening to your music. While this function is optional (the default setting is "Off"), "Still" will make your audio sound like it's coming from two stereo speakers in front of you, while "Motion" sounds like it's coming from two speakers in front of you that follow the movements of your head. We believe in what the Immersive Audio options have to offer, however each customer's experience is different and I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the "Still" and "Motion" options here.

      Warm regards

Great earpads. The best in noise reduction. Sound quality is amazing. I use the immersive setting and it just sounds like your on the concert hall. You just can’t miss with Bose. I have been using Bose for many years and different iterations. Never been unhappy with Bose products
