Not what I thought.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not quite what I thought. While I can isolate the sound around me, they don’t isolate it from the person I’m talking to. They can literally hear everything going on around me. I did t enjoy these at all. I feel bad.

Posted .I'm sorry to hear you're somewhat disappointed with your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds! Please note that the earbuds aren't designed to block out the background noise that the person you're on the phone to can hear in your background. The earbuds will only block out the noise that you can hear in your background. Regards, Fiona M. - Bose Customer Support

Not dependable Wont buy them again.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are good when they work. Bought a pair in October because Airpod Pros were unabailable. I went home and put them on a charger and connected them to my iphone 15. On the Bose app it said I had 24 percent charge so I let them charge over night. The next morning I checked the battery status and it now said I had 5%. So I returned them later that day. Her it is January 4th and the left earbud wont take a charge I tried to do a hard reset and its still not taking a charge. The sound quality was really good and the noise cancellation was awesome too. But unfortunately this is a product that seems to not work.

Way too glitchy and poor build quality
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I decided to purchase these earbuds to upgrade from my original Bose QC earbuds that I had used for several years. I liked those original earbuds, but had issues keeping them in my ears. The Best Buy sales associate directed me to a pair of Jabra and I should have listened to her. First off, they do fit better my ears better, but they easily shake loose. I’ve tired the different sizes, and nothing works. Now for the main problem. They are glitchy. I updated them to the latest OS and they still are glitchy. What do I mean by glitchy? They disconnect randomly. They also cut in and out randomly. And the noise cancellation system will stop and then start on its own. So you have popping and cracking noises emitted from the headphones. Great of you don’t like music or silence. Not so great if you want to actually listen to music uninterrupted. It really voids the whole “noise cancellation” idea. I suppose Bose doesn’t understand the concept of nose cancellation any longer. They used to be a leader in the tech, now they just are dead last. Next, and I found this out only after having these earbuds too long to return them, it seems that with any Bose earbud that has the rechargeable case that the case tends to fry the batteries. Case in point, pun intended, I decided to gift my old Bose QC earbuds to someone. So I charge them up and try to connect them to their device only to have them flash red and white led lights at me. These have never been abused, worn in the gym, in extreme temperatures or kept in extreme temperatures. They had set for about 3 or 4 months in the case without being used. After spending time on a chat conversation with a Bose rep, I was told the battery had degraded. Really? On a set of $300 headphones that have been well cared for? I found a pair of Beats that I bought over 10 years ago, charged them up and they work fine. And those were used to jog in and to mow the lawn, etc. The only logical thing I can think of is the case does not have adequate overcharge protection. So to sum it up, I regret buying these and fear they won’t hold up. Unfortunately, I’ve had them too long now to return them. The next time I need headphones, I’ll listen to the Best Buy salesperson.

Posted .Hi Mike, thanks for your review of the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds! I'm very sorry to hear you've had a poor experience with them so far.
It's not unusual to have to experiment with different eartip and stability band sizes, to find a comfortable but secure fit. The eartip and stability band sizes can be mixed and matched, and "XS" or "XL" sizes are available if these are needed.
As to the connection issues you mentioned, these should not be occurring but there could be a number of reasons for this behavior. I would recommend rebooting your mobile device, and possibly testing the earbuds with a different device to compare performance. Clearing the Bluetooth pairing lists on both sides and setting up a new connection can also be required from time to time, if a Bluetooth connection has become "corrupted".
Another quick tip is re-syncing the earbud connection, by returning the earbuds to the case, closing the lid, and then re-inserting the earbuds after a short wait. This can also resolve any issues around poor noise cancellation performance - although again, the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds are designed to supply world-class noise cancellation to you.
Last of all, if you're seeing red and white flashing battery LEDs, and if a reset of your earbuds doesn't resolve this (here is one article covering this: https://www.bose.co.uk/en_gb/support/articles/HC2563/productCodes/QCUE-HEADPHONEIN/article.html), then I would recommend contacting our customer support team for where you live. The team can advise as to the next steps, up to and including service, and they can be reached here: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US.

A bitter disappointment... Not comfortable
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, the earbuds are not as comfortable as I had hoped for extended wear. After about an hour, I started to feel some discomfort, which is disappointing for a product marketed as "QuietComfort." I tried adjusting the fit with the included ear tips, but the problem persisted. Second, there’s an issue with call quality. While I could hear the other person clearly, the feedback I received was that I sounded too loud on their end, even in normal conversation.

Posted .I'm sorry to hear that you didn't find your QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds comfortable, despite trying the different combinations of eartip and stability band. Bose sells two other sizes of eartip (XS, XL) and band (0, 4) that you're also welcome to try, in case that helps. If you're being told that you sound too loud on calls, I would recommend installing the latest firmware update via the Bose app. You could also try orienting the Bose logo on your earbuds slightly away from your mouth/chin, which could help. If this issue persists, please get in touch so we can take a closer look at what's happening: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. Earbud breaks months after warranty.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds really sounded great until a year later, the left earbud made a loud pop and stopped working. The pricing is absurd knowing that these lasted a year. I wouldn't get these for long term

Garbage, do not buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high hopes but the past two sets of earbuds I bought from Bose are trash, including these. At first I thought these were great and the noise canceling is good but within 2 weeks of gentle use there’s constant static in the right earbud. Also, while they seem to be a snug fit if you’re not too active, they tend to fall out if you’re chewing (gum, food, etc) so they’re definitely being returned ASAP.

Posted .Hello and thank you for your review.
Any speaker or headphones designed with batteries and other active electronics may introduce a low-sounding hum or hiss when the power is turned on. This is commonly referred to as a “noise floor” and may or may not be heard by the user. This is normal operation for this type of audio equipment and should only be heard in quiet environments when the power is turned on and no other audio source is playing.
If the earbuds aren't quite fitting or staying in we suggest taking a look at the alternative fit kit https://bose.life/47OSdLv
