Great fit, sound and ANC! My son has been trying to get me to try Bose for years, but I love my Sony WF-1000XM5's. I still like my Sony's, but now I'm using both.

These are the most amazing earbufmds I have ever owned. Noise Cancelling. Spatial sound. Best purchase I have made in a long time. Makes me love music even more. I was worried about them staying in my ears. They do, amazing. They are an investment, but worth every fricken dollar. Wow, thats what I say every time I put them in and listen. Wow.

These quite comfort ultra earbuds are phenomenal for music, with a good low end and some customization within the Bose app. Call quality id average, noise cancellation very good. If you prioritize music over calls, get these, but they are clunky.

Left ear static noise makes these things annoying!

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds have great sound - the bass is great (maybe too much!), the mids aren't super offensive (and can be scooped with in-app EQ), and the highs are clear and crisp. As far as earbuds go, these do offer a superior experience that I think would make most people happy. Active noise cancelling on these rival their headset counterparts and make commuting (I travel via the NYC Subway) a lot less painful. The earbuds fit well into my (smaller) ear canal and the seal is perfect. For all intents and purposes, these would be my ideal earbuds, more so than the Sony WF-1000 series earbuds. So why the 2-star rating? There's an incessant, annoying, and ever present hissing/static noise that comes from the left ear-bud, no matter how hard I try to fix it. I've tried resetting these ear buds, I've tried connecting to a different audio source, everything. I'm not sure if my pair of earbuds are specifically defective, but it I can hear it while listening to music, podcasts, you name it. This doesn't sound like regular "floor noise", but that something is seriously wrong with these earbuds. Doing a quick Google search reveals similar issues with this model specifically. I will be returning these today and going with the inferior Sony earbuds just so that I have something to use.

Hi Luke, I'm happy to hear you like the QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds' sound! As you correctly said, the sound can be fine-tuned to your liking via the in-app EQ. It's also good to hear that you got on well with the earbuds' fit, and with the noise cancelling.

As for the noise you've described in the left earbud, thank you for trying some troubleshooting. I can confirm that this sound is normal; you may be able to hear a faint digital artifact when in a quiet environment, not listening to music, and noise cancelling is on high. If you're also hearing the noise whilst listening to music, we can proceed with offering service; however, if the issue is still present on your exchange set, it will ultimately be down to the earbud’s design.

      Warm regards

Definitely an Upgrade from previous wired models. Even riding a zero turn lawnmower for hours is great for getting my music. However, the husband snoring in a king size bed and these DO NOT cancel his loud snoring!!! I don’t even know if there is a model that would give me complete silence while he snores! If anyone know please lmk! Have always been a Bose fan. It’s a no go with his snoring.

I’ve been through more ears buds most. Use them for work and play. Costs not an issue and have had really good ears buds at a lower cost point. Noise cancellation is epic, fit like a dream. The sound is very good and the Spatial Audio is also top rated. You will not be disappointed with these buds….

These truly do have the bass compared to the Beats and iPods Pro. I like the Moonstone Blue color as opposed to the black and off-white. They fit quite well and really are husband-cancelling (oops noise-cancelling). It takes a little getting used to at first. I don't care for using the Bose app to connect via Bluetooth but it does have an equalizer.

First pair of ear buds I’ve owned and they sound great! Fit my ears perfectly out of the box but, using the different ear tips and wings that come with it, should fit just about anyone. The noise cancelling works well but if you need to hear the environment around you, that’s possible too. Very pleased with these!

Noise cancelling is the only great thing about these. Connectivity is terrible and they are not built to last. Bought these 4.17.24. After a couple months of having them I was having issues with keeping them connected to my laptop, which was one of the primary things I needed headphones for. Now they no longer connect to my laptop so I only use them with my phone. I still have issues with them disconnecting from my phone so I just deal with it. However, this last week my right ear bud has started making loud noises no matter what environment I'm in. Of course I went to Bose customer service and my warranty has expired. Best they can do is have me send in my current headphones and try and fix them but I have to buy a new pair in order to do so. Seeing as a new pair is $200 and I just bought these for $325 I will not be sending my headphones in. I am gladly switching back to Beats.

Hmm. I used to be a faithful Bose customer. Gave these a chance and ugh. Outside of the superior sounds quality for music (when both buds connect, not just one), and the superior call quality (only for me, not the person on other end of the call, no noise cancellation for them, they hear everything around me and can’t hear me if there’s slight noise around me). In other words, if you don’t mind dealing with unexpected connectivity issues at random, and being perfectly still while on calls, when your buds decide to connect, then yeah, great buds. This is truly saddening as I’ve always loved the unmatched sound, and comfortable in ear buds, truly unmatched design. For the price tag, you’re better off dealing Apple AirPods falling out of your ears risking losing them but at least their connectivity is pretty solid and quality for the callers as well. I returned them. But I’m over the Bose thing. I used to buy every pair they came out with. They need to hire the Plantronics engineers for their noise cancellation secrets for the callers.

after reading the reviews i was pretty ok with possibly having to return these because i thought maybe i wouldnt be satisfied with the price. but for ear buds these are amazing! the sound is comparable to my sony xm5 headphones and i really like the immersive mode! it was easy to set up out of the box and the comfort is great! air pods pro are TRASH compared to these!!
