Wow - Bose strikes again

The purchase was made for a raffle prize for my yearly golf outing, but I received a pair for Father's Day and they are the best I have ever had. Cancel out everything!

Great sound, terrible product quality

However, they have a lot of issues: - The sound fades in from silence. Any brief pause in audio will be followed by an inability to hear. If you're on a phone call with a pause, you'll miss the first 1-2 seconds of what someone says. If you're listening to a video with a pause, you'll miss the 1-2 seconds of audio on resumption. And music will feel oddly muted many times throughout the song. - The connection is poor. Pull it out of the case, the left one doesn't work. Put them back in, wait 3 second for the blinking lights to stop, try again and now it's the right one. You may have to try 5+ times to get them working every time you start listening to something. It's a real shame because these are pretty great at times. But these problems are a daily nuisance to a very expensive product.

The sound fading in from silence doesn't seem normal, and could be down to the app or mobile device that you're using. I would recommend trying a different app or mobile device, and testing for the same behavior. The connectivity issues may also be resolved by trying a different mobile device, or rebooting your current mobile device.

Poor performance

I study at Starbucks regularly and the ultra earbuds do a phenomenal job of blocking out the background noise. I can’t even hear the baristas when they call out or order!

Great sound as expected but voice quality is bad

Within the first few calls I had been told to return the headphones and buy a new pair of the same old generation Bose headphones. The sound quality is extremely conparable to the overhead headphones counterpart in being premium and tailores to a less bass heavy ear though.

Posted .Hello, thanks for leaving your review of the QC Ultra Earbuds. Poor voice pickup is generally attributed with the way they are placed in the ears. There are tiny holes on the buds which work best when directed towards your mouth and if they're too high, it'll direct ambient sound into the mics. I recommend readjusting the placement so they are directed more towards your mouth and try another call to see if that helps.

Incredible and buggy

The amount of times i have had to repair these is absurd for the price, but my oh my do they sound phenomenal. So good that i cannot return them.
