    I had a pair of these that had firmware that was a year old or so, and they worked great. I loved em. But I made the mistake of letting the Bose app update them to 4.0.20 which TOTALLY BLOWS. After that connections were a nightmare. Stuck in loops, playing crackly noises, not being able even manually switch devices. I suspect if you ONLY use these with your phone, and never try to pair them with something else, you might be okay. Apart from that, consider yourself warned.

      Hi Michael,

      It is strange that you've had trouble after the firmware update. I'd recommend making sure that you resync the connection of the earbuds together by placing them in the case and ensure they making a good connection with the charging pins. Then keep the case closed until the case lights stop flashing, and only remove one earbud from the case and it in your ear before removing the other earbud.     HUGE step back from previous gen. The BT works poorly and their connection to each other is worse. Sound quality took a backslide and the new immersive audio sounds like youre in a huge metal can. JUST BAD

    They're okay just wasn't for me... for calling the sound was crystal clear but it sound extremely low or like the person is far away... the sound quality is good but the battery life sucks... they are not very comfortable for me either

    The IIs were some of the best I’ve used and now they’re even better! one thing I will say is Bose needs to be faster with updates! they could’ve added wireless to this case I feel

    Love them . Only 1 little complaint. The touch to pause is to sensitive my shoulder while working out sometimes touches it and it pauses. Ill live haha

    This worked fantastic for the first few weeks. Days after the return/exchange cut off, one of them died. Contacted Bose and have gotten the runaround on getting a replacement. Won’t buy Bose again.
