It randomly happens. The setting are so basic but yet complicated. The bass terrible. I think this is more for home theater use then music use. Also the noise canceling isn’t all that great either. Maybe I got a faulty one but so far I think it’s the folding mechanism is good I like that I can compact it into a small bag charges fast battery is decent but I’ve wore for an hr and the battery went from 100 to 75. Definitely not worth the price.

Posted .Thanks for your review! The battery life of the QuietComfort Ultra Headphones is up to 24 hours, if you make sure they're fully charged. The settings may be new to you to begin with, but we find that customers quickly accustom to them. If you're not happy with the bass, make sure to try the Equalizer in the Bose app, where you can adjust it to your liking. Also make sure you're in Quiet mode, in order to experience the best noise cancelling, and turn off ActiveSense in the Bose app, as this setting can otherwise alter the noise cancellation levels. A certain amount of hiss is normal in any headphones with active electronics, however if you feel this noise is overpowering, please contact our support team for assistance: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. The ear cups feel tighter than the second generation of Ultra. I would suggest get the 2nd generation one rather than this one even though its price is higher

If I tilt my head forward or lean back for more than 5 seconds, they disconnect from whatever I am listening too or watching. Then I have to turn them off and reconnect them to the source again. Very annoying. When they are connected, the sound is awesome. BOSE needs to allow 30 seconds before the connection is broken. Going back to the style I had before this purchase.

Good but disappointing

My only and biggest gripe was that there were so many connectivity issues. I would turn the headphones on, and I would have to basically turn them off and back on before they would connect to anything.

There wasn't a Lord variance in the sound quality. I think it's a great purchase if you don't already have the QuiteComforts, but not worth the money to upgrade
