    Better than Beats

To me the sound quality on these are better than Beats. The soundstage seems clearer and crisper. I also like the fact that the Bose app has a customizable EQ whereas you’re stuck with the preset ones on your iPhone for the Beats. The noise cancellation on these is excellent. A single charge lasts a few days while using immersive audio and lasts even longer if I switch to aware (no noise canceling). Some people have indicated Bluetooth connection drops on iPhone but I haven’t had any problems — they stayed connected for an entire east coast to west coast flight. I generally don’t use over ear headphones for phone or video calls so I can’t comment on call quality.

Beats headphones are the best on the market

I love my Beats headphones! They tune out 98% of noise that surrounds me in a fairly loud room. The sound quality is the best headphones I’ve ever owned, which has been a lot. The battery life is amazing. Fully charged can last me a full week. I’ve watched 2 movies that weee 2 1/2 hours long and I was still at 89%. I can’t say enough about these Beats headphones, because I would run out of space. I love the soft ear cushion. It fits snug around my ears. Easy to set up the wireless Bluetooth to any device. Best headphones I’ve ever purchased! You won’t regret purchasing Beats Bluetooth wireless headphones

Love these headphones. I traded in my Airpods Max to get these instead - best decision I’ve made. They’re lighter, sound better, have better ANC, and are so much more comfortable. I was getting tired of cleaning the Airpods, but these are a million times easier to clean

I bought this and Apple Airpod Pro Max to compare. Bose one is more Light weight and comfortable for wearing long period of time. Both sound quality are pretty good to me so I just picked the one is less expensive with similar experience. Also love the sand color that gives some character but not too pop out :)

    Nice Upgrade At The Price

Purchased as "open box" with $60 discount. This was an upgrade from much older QuietComfort 35's that began giving me "buzzing" noise. Using these as a phone headset in addition to listening capabilities is a real plus. I've been flying with these and find the noise cancellation capabilities to be excellent. Battery life seems longer than older model. The longer time having to hold the start-up button is a little annoying, but not a big deal. Note that when using as a phone headset that noise in your environment (e.g. paper rustling, outside sounds) will be fully heard by the person with whom you're talking, but not much by you because of the headphones' noise canceling capabiities.

This is the best headset I've ever used. I've been working remotely for years, and these are the most comfortable set that can be worn all day. The noise cancellation is superior! Well done Bose!

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones in White Smoke sound amazing, and the noise cancellation blocks out everything around you. They’re super comfy to wear for hours, and the design looks sleek and high-end.

Sublime. Truly sublime. I bought these headphones on a whim, but having experienced much of the QuietComfort line, I had high hopes and these do not disappoint. The lightest pair they’ve ever made, the best ear clearance I’ve ever felt, and my ears stay cool and comfortable. The noise cancellation is, as expected, bested only by what Apple will come out with in their next AirPods Max II headphones. The ambient sound is seamless and provides clear audio of your surroundings if you need it. The sound quality is Bose: great mids and decent lows with clean but not overwhelming highs. The app to control the headphones is also pretty easy to get the hang of. Do be careful pairing on the airplane as it’s easy for someone to pick up the signal and pair by accident. The power on button takes awhile. As in, you need to hold it down in order for the headphones to turn on. I prefer a switch, but it’s not a dealbreaker. All in, would buy again, even though they are expensive. If you know the serenity you feel when you isolate yourself from the rest of the world, this is the pair to get. Now, with added lightness, I almost want to wear them all the time.

The best headphones as of 2024

I spent a ton of time (literally weeks) reading, learning and watching every single review of all headphones available early in early 2024. I found that every single review at least ranked these headphones as one of the best if not the best. I felt 100% certain that they are at least one of the best, but as I continue to read longer, I felt that they they are actually the best. I first bought the XM4, then returned them. Then bought the XM5 and while I liked them, I really wanted to try these headphones. I ordered the B&W 7s and noise cancelation was not different, and around the same time I finally got these Bose. 2 days as I was testing them, I never came back to the other two headphones I have. I am obsessed with headphones, and now this bose headphones are the only one I use. It’s sad that you really need to try different headphones to develop a sense of which one is best, and am glad I finally tried those and the decision was easy. Those are way much comfortable to wear than all other options, sound quality is INSANE… the the BEST aspect is the noise cancelation as well as the transperance mode. Phenominal headphones am so happy with my purchase.

This is simply the best premium headphones in the system period. The simple but elegant design, the top-notch noise cancellation, the ultra-comfortability, and the excellent sound quality make the Bose QC Ultra headphones the best.

Tested these out on my vacation starting on the airplane for 3 hours and noise cancellation was excellent. Battery has never run out. Super comfortable fit too. I like the new beige color so may get another and give this one to my daughter. Great buy! Love Bose!

Amazing headphones. They have better bass than my QC 35 II. The battery lasts a long time, and the over-ear fit is more comfortable. Excellent Bluetooth range.

I thought the noise cancelling on my previous pair was impressive, but this one stopped all the crying babies from ruining my flight. The sound is crisp and clean. I even just like to turn them on without music for the peacefulness they create. And that blue is awesome. The only downside is that putting them in the case correctly is not as intuitive as my last pair, but I will figure out what yoga position they have to be in to fit correctly.

These are very good because of the soft ear piece comfort, great sound quality as well as top of the line noise cancellation ability. But what I like most is that they are foldable, light weight and easy to carry when traveling. I traded in my Apple Airpods Max for these because the Apple Airpods were heavier, less comfortable, and were cumbersome when carrying around while traveling.
