Can't turn off anc active noise cancelling

I tried them in store and they sounded great. But the anc controls confused me. It was after that I learned you can't turn off the anc. You can't adjust the anc strength. You can only adjust how much outside noise they let in. This means the anc strength is controlled by the headphones. That means if you have too much eardrum pressure from the anc, then tough!...bose doesn't want YOU to control the anc strength of headphone on YOUR head and ears!...SHAME!!!

      Hi there,

It's wonderful to see that you find the sound great on the headphones. I'm surprised you're having trouble with the active noise-cancellation. You can adjust the level of ANC following our guide here https://bose.life/4a6Zbha through adjusting the mode you're in. You can also create a custom mode that lets you adjust how much ANC is in use. We'd also love to help you with the headphones, please contact us https://bose.life/contact for further help.

I went from Bose 700 to these and im on my 2nd pair within 3 months all because of sweat damage! The 700s didn’t store sweat or water but somehow water or sweat gets inside!

Hi Dave - sorry to hear about your experience so far! These headphones don't have a water resistance rating, so they're not as ideal for e.g. workouts as some of our in-ear solutions. However, sweating a little when using your QuietComfort Ultra Headphones shouldn't cause any issues. Our support team will be happy to help you if you find that issues are nonetheless occurring: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. Updates are not good enough.

I bought Bose headphones over the years . The 35QC and 700. Each time Bose update their software. You loose ANC quality. Not worth the hassle and money. This is a problem Bose have had and continues to have.

Hello, thanks for leaving your thoughts on the QC Ultra Headphones. With regard to multi-point connections, you do not need to turn Bluetooth off on each device when switching, you just need to pause the playback of audio. The headphones will then be able to switch between device. You can learn more about multi-point here: https://bose.life/3XSZSXw. Please give this a try the next time you use the headphones.

With battery life, you can expect up to 24 hours of use on a single charge, with a 3 hour charge fully charging the headphones.
