I’ve owned and tested quite a few over-ear headphones over the years, and these genuinely stand out. The sound quality is excellent right out of the box — clean mids, deep but controlled bass, and clear highs without being fatiguing at Bass 0 Mids +4 Treble -2. They handle everything well, from music and movies to calls and podcasts. Noise cancellation is very effective, especially for constant background noise like traffic, HVAC, or office environments. It creates a calm, immersive listening experience without that heavy pressure some ANC headphones cause. Comfort is another big plus. The ear cups are soft, lightweight, and breathable enough for long listening sessions without discomfort. Battery life has also been solid so far — easily lasting through multiple days of regular use. Build quality feels premium, controls are intuitive, and pairing was quick and seamless. Overall, these feel like a well-designed, high-end product that’s worth the price. Amazing! I have used the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones for a couple of months for work calls and for gaming and they are just incredible. Excellent noise cancellation and top quality audio. They pause when removing them from your ears, even just moving them slightly off your ears to listen to someone talking to you. They seemlessly connect to multiple devices with very little trouble. I have had other headphones that are constantly needing to reconnect when using multiple devices. These have had almost no troubles at all handing off from my phone to the computer.

Bose knows how to do comfort. The ultra headphones and the ultra earbuds are quite amazing. The Bose QC ultra headphones are quite comfortable with a very warm and engaging soundstage. Have the WH1000 XM5s to compare to. The X-M5s look awful and the headband sucks. There's just no other word for the sonys. The headband just sucks! Plus they look cheap. The Bose QC ultra headphones look like quality. You will get your money's worth. What's really important is call quality and soundstage for listening to whatever music there is you're into. These will not disappoint.

These are excellent headphones for listening to every part of the music. The music comes from everywhere and in precise tone,bass and midrange notes. The comfort is unbelievable and snug fit makes the ANC virtually in a world of your own. The complete listening experience.

Very comfy and good for long flight. I wish noises canceling what better for assisting with drowning out air plane engine sounds. Other wise great over ear sound. The carrying case is a little off but figured out a way to get it to sit in it flat .

Best headphones i’ve ever gotten. You really have to take a look at the raw frequency response in the rtings review so you can tweek the eq properly and each 10 slider movement is about 1 db raise or lowered so my best setting has been bass +1 mid +5 and treble -5 to get a pleasing more balanced sound that would give you live music quality. Very happy with this purchase!

I LOVE these headphones! I have cleaned the house, worked out, gone for a run, and so many other things in these. They are so comfortable and the sound quality is great! I would definitely recommend these to anyone!

I love the noise cancellation on these headphones. They are comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. They also connect to my television.

First set of Bose headphones. I mostly use them for running during the winter. The fit is great, offering adjustability to get the perfect fit. The different sound modes are great too, with ambient allowing me to hear my surroundings and ANC blocking everything other than the loudest vehicles, but even then, I can barely hear them. So far they do not have any issues like a buzzing sound, which I’ve had with other headphones I’ve used for working out. The ear pads aren’t interchangeable, but are holding up well so far. And the audio quality is top tier.

I use these when mowing on the tractor, gardening, housework and kitchen prep when I don’t want to hear the television. I listen to Audible books and the noise cancelling is excellent. However, I can still be “in the moment” and hear the dog or cat at the door or other important signals. If the phone rings, I can take the call or decline without removing the headphones. They are comfortable and adjustable and often safer than using AirPods. Great buy!

Best headphones by far. Love them. Easy to use. Just pair with your smart tv and you are good to go. No charging box to hook up, everything needed is built into the headphones. Uses a C cord for charging. Very comfortable to wear. Well worth the price.

I narrowed my choice between bose, sony, and airpod max. I tested the noise cancellation in store and funny enough it was a busy day in the store and there was a really loud alarm going off. The bose headphones performed the best (couldn't try the airport max headphones as there was no display) and from a price point they were cheaper than the airpodmax and I read several website reviews that said sony and bose had better sound quality. I really like the case provided and the ease of use. I mostly have apple products but these still working on it great in spite of not being fully integrated like beats or airpods. Bose also has a great warranty on their products and I've had really good experience even when the product breaks or needs repairs.

These are my favorite headphones, comfortable, sound is great, easy to use. I am however disappointed in the durability my left side head phone the cover is starting to peal back and I don't know why.

Returned the Apple AirPods Max for these. They’re much better! So light, far superior noise cancellation, richer bass, and more. Fantastic headphones!

I love the sound of these — even more than the Apple AirPods Max — but the connectivity with Apple devices is a mess. As a Hollywood sound engineer, I’ve owned several Bose headphones and earbuds, and while these aren’t for work, just walks and casual listening, I really wanted them to my choice go-to for casual listening. Unfortunately, Bose still hasn’t figured out reliable Bluetooth performance with iPhones. The sound quality and comfort are top-notch, but the inconsistent connection and half-working controls make them frustrating. I use $3K Sennheisers for studio work, so I know what great audio is — and these get close in sound, but far from Apple’s seamless functionality. I lost a pair of Ultra Earbuds and had similar issues. At this point, I’m probably done with Bose — unless they finally fix their Apple integration. Shame, really. I wish I could put their sound in Apple’s hardware.

One of the best over ear head phones. I bought these for my son and he loves them. Great noise cancellation and incredibly comfortable.

Excellent NC. I cannot really tell the difference from airpods Max or Sony XM3, but I was able to wear them for 8 hours with no ear burning or issue so comfort wins here. I got them open box for $200 less (white smoke version) and they looked like new and have full warranty

I loved my Sony XM5, but i have no brand loyalty. Bose has dethroned the mighty XM5 and IMO has tge highest sound wuality and by far the best ANC I have ever experienced. Well worth the price point! These feel more premium, while also maintain the lightweight for long listening sessions. Laslty, the “aware” mode is unexpectedly cery unique in that it feels very natural in the sound it lets through versus others that just over blow the bsckground noise that can be w bit uncomfortable. 10/10 I love these
