Prior to purchasing these headphones, I owned corded on-the-ear Bose noise cancelling headphones purchased 15+ years ago. The new headphones are very light, offer both corded and wireless connectivity options, have three different operating modes, and they hold their battery charge for the length of my upcoming trip to Australia (~23hours)--quite an improvement over my older headphones.

I purchased these as a switch from in-ear to over the ear, and these are super comfortable! Pros: not too heavy, love the color, noise cancellation is nice, comfortable to wear Cons: the mic is not as great as I was hoping, you have to mess with the Bose app when pairing new devices, the head movement sensor will continuously pause your sound if you’re moving around (ie cleaning the house) unless you turn it off… but that means it won’t auto pause if you take the headphones off. Overall, I am happy with the purchase but there are definitely cons to get used to.

Love the Bose ultra quite headphones. I use them in the gym, walking, phone calls, PS5 and just relaxing. Sound quality is great and the passthrough so you can hear your surroundings works great. Super comfortable headphones as well. Battery life is insane as well. Feel like I never charge them and they are ready to go

These things were just like excellent! Very light weight, can barely feel them on my head!! Great noise cancellation and excellent bass, volume level! They look great on my head too!! Would buy these again for sure! These headphones sound really good with hi rez audio!! Even comes with a cable to plug into a 3.5mm headphone jack!!

Got these for my wife who generally doesn't like to wear any type of headphones. She now wears them to the gym and around the house. I have 2 pair (including Ultra) and my son has a pair so that makes 4. I guess that means we like them. Sound is great and they are comfortable even on my gargantuan head. The physical controls could be easier to use but it's not a major issue.

Very comfortable on my head and the sound is superb! I had to get used to controlling the settings in the Bose app, but I’m comfortable with it now and it’s easy. The various sound modifications and settings are excellent and the headphones fold nicely in the case. Adjustable for head size too.

The title says it all. These headphones are extremely comfortable, sound amazing, have the best noise cancelling i’ve ever experienced, and a very long battery life. They even automatically tune themselves to the shape of your ear canal. I had the Bose NC 700 headphones before and the QC Ultras are better in every single way.

I’m absolutely in love with these headphones. They are comfortable, and have great battery life. A recent firmware upgrade improved a lot of little things on these headphones. With the app, you can adjust the sound and noise, cancellation, as well as the immersive audio. It’s also possible to create custom modes With the preferred amount of noise, cancellation, etc. The aware mode makes you forget that you’re even wearing these headphones. Absolutely stunning. Even making phone calls is wonderful with these. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

I have an older set of the Qs family quiet, comfort headset, and decided that after 20 years to buy a new one I’m glad I did. This one is really nice as far as the sound extremely comfortable and the battery life is much better than upset that I bought my older son a couple years back, now he wants one of these newer ones. I also have another set of Bose earbuds and I like those two so I’ve tried different products within Apple beats and I seem to find that Bose offers a much better quality of sound.

The Bose QC Ultra are very comfortable but I have come across some issues after 2-3 weeks. When adjusting the EQ the overall volume always decreases. In fact the volume just isn’t loud enough across the whole device. iTunes on my computer for some reason plays it much louder than when I’m on my phone playing music. Battery life is okay at 24hrs/ 18hr for immersion mode. Wind reduction is very noticeable so that was cool. Still don’t know if all the little upgrades like immersion, auto play, wind reduction, and the new button layout makes the ultras worth the extra $200 compared to the basic qc 45s. Connection has dropped a few times but not very consistently so a quick reconnect and I usually forget about it. Sometimes the auto play feature kicks in and I don’t realize it or it’ll keep playing music even though the headphones are off my head. Tried using it to play video games but if you have multi point connectivity and someone calls you on your phone mid game it’ll switch over to the phone so kinda got a little annoying for me. Overall sound could be better, neutral tone might just not be for me plus the sound limits are too low, battery life is average, and the connectivity isn’t perfect. I will say though movies and anything focusing on vocals are amazing. The bass rumbling in my ears caught me off guard while watching a movie since it doesn’t usually happen when playing music. Don’t know why that is maybe the movie had a better bass medium or the actually bass chord used was more sensitive to vibrations. Also, can’t leave out the amazing noise cancelling. These headphones are the best at ANC (active notice cancelling). So if you’re a student just looking for headphones to study in the library with these will keep you very focused. Others might not like you though if you have the volume too high because there is a bit of sound leakage. Anyways, I would like to try out a different pair of headphones to compare. I hear the Sony XM5s have a nice bass but comfort goes down with them and the main reason I chose the QC 45 Ultras was for comfort. Maybe I’ll give the regular QC 45s a go and save $200 and just lose the little upgrades. The perfect headphone, in this price range, just might not exist.

Although it glitches when switching between products, that takes nothing away from the sound, and noise cancelling ability. Easily the best money spent and return from product. Comfortable and not flimsy which I appreciate as someone who has a toddler running amok.
