Listened to Beats, Apple, Sony. Listen to for hours and these were by far the best in sound for the price. Bought on sale but still would have paid full price for these. Light weight and very comfortable and stylish to wear. Not bulky and easy to use.

Amazing Sound - Comfortable - Great new Feature

These headphones truly sound amazing, and I’m happy to report they are comfortable. I can’t wear anything tight, they feel like painful vice grips on my head, but these are just as comfortable as the regular Quiet Comfort headphones that have been around for years, to me at least. The 700s felt tight and uncomfortable to me so I didn’t get them but these are a win. Sound is your typical great Bose over the ear headphones, but the Ultra line has a new feature where it feels like the music is in front of you rather than IN ear. It’s not just a gimmick to me, and when I turn it off and the music goes “back into my ear” I’m disappointed and I turn the immersive audio back on. It’s so good sometimes I check to make sure the sound isn’t coming from my ipad instead of the headphones. GET THESE they are awesome - I chose the Lunar Blue color, it’s fun to have something other than black, white, and beige/grey in the premium line. Thanks Bose!

These headphones are great and I love that they are noise cancelling. I have a smaller head and this was the only brand that actually seemed to fit ok (though still a tad large). I’m less crazy about needing my phone to adjust some settings. I most need to switch between transparent and noise canceling while at work, but if I choose that setting for the headphones, then I need my phone to switch other settings. I have no connection issues with my iPhone, and the battery lasts forever. Overall I’m happy with the purchase, and only took a point off because of the sizing and settings options mentioned above.

I am thoroughly impressed with these Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones. The immersive audio is truly remarkable, creating a rich and detailed listening experience. The noise cancellation is simply amazing and effectively blocks out all surrounding distractions, making them perfect for travel, work, or just relaxing. To top it all off, the battery life is excellent and reliable. I highly recommend these headphones!

Best over ear headphones I’ve ever owned. Very lightweight, easy to use and pair and the optional aux cord is clutch for airline travel. The bass and noise canceling is awesome and audio is extremely crisp

Bag talk, hmm It's quiet, ain't no back talk Quiet, ain't no back talk. They good, people keep sneaking up on me like ninjas. The battery life is decent too. Recommend if you are looking for the best noise cancelling headphones even if they are expensive. You can get 80-90 percent of the performance from Anker or Sony but bose has that last little bit that sends them over the bar.

Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones Do The Job!

I love my Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Headphones. I wore them on a five-hour flight, and they isolated me from the aircraft's noise, whereas the open earphones couldn't be heard. They are comfortable, and the charge lasts a long time. I have done a lot of research, and Bose was the best fit for me. The Best Buy salesmen weren't helpful when making this purchase. The cashier duped me into reopening a Best Buy credit card by saying that there was a $50 credit toward the purchase. He just didn't mean this purchase.

Very comfortable headset, slightly lighter it seems than the QC45 and the 700. Battery life seems really long, it held up on an 8 hr plane trip + 2 hr train ride and battery still has 50%. I personally can't tell too much of a difference between quiet ANC mode and the immersive audio mode, but the ANC is still great on the plane etc. I use the Airfly to connect to plane audio so that I can be cablefree, and these pair nicely to it.

At 52, I’ve spent a lifetime appreciating sound — from the hiss of cassette tapes to the clean clarity of CDs, and now to lossless digital audio. Over the years, I’ve tried countless pairs of headphones chasing that perfect mix of comfort, quality, and quiet. With the Bose QuietComfort Ultra, I believe I’ve finally found it. Right away, the design speaks to the kind of craftsmanship that feels built to last. They’re solid but light, refined but not flashy. Slipping them on is like shutting the door to the outside world — in the best way. The cushioning is second to none. Even during long flights or extended listening sessions at home, they never feel fatiguing. The real magic, though, is in the noise cancellation. I’ve used plenty of “noise-canceling” headphones over the years, but none touch this level of performance. Whether I’m blocking out the hum of the world or just trying to enjoy a quiet moment, these headphones create a peaceful, private space for my music, audiobooks, or podcasts. And then there’s the sound — rich, balanced, and full-bodied. Bass hits without being muddy, mids are clean, and highs are crisp without being harsh. It doesn’t matter if I’m listening to classic rock, jazz, or orchestral film scores — the QuietComfort Ultras present each note with precision and warmth that takes me back to when I first fell in love with music. The wireless connection is rock solid, pairing easily with my phone and other devices. Battery life is excellent, and the touch controls are easy to use without being gimmicky. For someone who values tradition but embraces what technology can offer, these headphones strike the perfect balance. They’re not overhyped or overdesigned — just expertly built with purpose, passion, and performance in mind. Verdict: The Bose QuietComfort Ultra delivers exactly what the name promises — quiet, comfort, and ultra-premium sound. For those of us who’ve listened across the decades, these headphones prove that great sound never goes out of style.

Bose QC Ultra Headphones Review – Great Value 279

I bought the Bose QC Ultra headphones for $279, especially since the Gen 2 model is priced at $450. After using them, it’s hard to justify paying that much more because the differences are minimal. The noise cancellation is excellent, which is where Bose really shines. They block out airplane noise, traffic, and background chatter very effectively. Sound quality is clean and well-balanced, with solid bass that doesn’t overwhelm vocals or mids. Comfort is another strong point. The headphones are lightweight and easy to wear for long periods. Battery life is also good and more than enough for daily use or travel. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. The microphone quality during phone calls is disappointing for a headset at this price. Call clarity isn’t great, and people on the other end often mention that my voice sounds distant or unclear. I also didn’t enjoy the “follow your head” option in Immersive Audio mode. It feels more distracting than immersive and doesn’t add much to the listening experience for me. Overall, at the $279 sale price, the QC Ultra headphones are a solid buy.

Get it to experience the world class noise cancellation immersive audio. It is light on your head, so you can enjoy surround sound. It is soft on your ears too and the various modes of listening can be customized to the user. The quiet mode will tune all noise out. EQ can also be customized to the user preference. It is competitively priced but is worth the investment.

I was in the market for new over ear headphones. Previously, I was using an older model of wireless beats studios. The Bose QC ultra are a huge step up in sound quality, comfort, and ease of use. EQ settings are new to me but I’ve messed around with my preferences. They’re so light and padded that I don’t really notice them even during long study sessions. The volume slider is different but once you get a hang of it it’s intuitive. The noise canceling is top tier. I was lucky to find these open box and in great condition.

I did my research on which noise-cancelling headphone to get. I almost got the Apple headphone but this is by far premium! I recommend spending the extra dollars to get the Ultra. Super comfortable, sleek, and easy to use and compatible to Apple/Samsung devices.

Awesome headphones- better than the NC700

Pretty good- I was coming from the NC700s and wanted to upgrade- initially went w/the Sony 1000MX5s but although the sound was INCREDIBLE w/them, I really couldn't get used to the controls and the app. I then found that Bose had switched back to QC as the flagship model, so I gave those a shot and despite the Sonys having a slightly better (IMO) sound (and the QC Ultras aren't BAD- they're just a lot more neutral than the Sony headphones- the Sonys had more 'natural' low-end' IMO), the QC Ultras have INSANE noise cancelling- literally, I was listening to music w/them on the first night at a high-ish volume and couldn't hear myself snapping my finger in front of my face- the BEST noise-cancelling I've ever experienced. So, I kept them- don't regret it, but I MIGHT be looking into a pair of Jabra Evolve2 85 headphones b/c I do use these at work all day and these aren't the best w/Teams/Microsoft (tbh, the Sony ones were NOT any better and MS is notoriously horrible w/BT for Teams). Oh, battery life is pretty amazing- had to charge the NC700s every night (use them on the bus/train to midtown from south Brooklyn and sometimes for most of the day at work and then again on the ride home)- w/these, at most I'm charging them every other night- not even always.
