Great ANC and Audio

I don't use immersion ever despite it being one of the reasons I purchased these. It seems that most music isn't set up to provide an "immersive" experience, so the feature kind of goes unused. I'd imagine it would be better for movies, etc.

Commuting to and from work via the bus and walking I like to listen to music or the news. Having noise cancelling allows me to disassociate from the world. I'd expect better from Bose. I remember years ago trying out a pair and it was awesome! This was okay. They have the same quality noise cancelling as my Sony XM2s from 2018. Two other big complaints I have are the hapic feedback buttons. I hate these lack of button devices. I can't figure out how to get this to work and I always have to use my phone to control what's supposed to be easy to use. The second complaint is switching between devices. I can't get this easily move from my phone to laptop once I'm at work. I don't mind opening settings and changing it but they crash every time. I have to turn off the headphones then deactivate my bluetooth feature on my last paired device.

Excellent Headphones at a Premium Price

The headphones feature different modes which customize how you hear your environment with your music. There is "aware mode" which let hear your surroundings, immersion mode which adds an element of extra echo and ambience to the sound. The quiet mode has been my favorite. The noise reduction is amazing. All in all, an excellent set of premium headphones at a premium price.

Bose cancels out the competition's noise

The sound quality also ranks among the best I've tried, but in my estimation, it simply has no equal on the ANC front.
