Probably the best.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product is outstanding and offers excellent comfort, effectively blocking noise. However, it's not significantly superior to the Bose 700, which provides more hands-on options and greater control in noise cancellation. A crucial tip: After installing the Bose app on your phone, remember to disable Bluetooth on your phone. This step is essential to prevent interruptions during computer use, such as when receiving phone calls. If you're in a Zoom meeting, an incoming call can disrupt the session, silencing applications like YouTube or Zoom. You can still take the call, but to ensure uninterrupted listening, it's best to turn off the phone's Bluetooth while using these headphones. Initially, you'll need to use the Bose app to set up the quiet mode and other features before turning off the phone's Bluetooth.

It's finally quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bag talk, hmm It's quiet, ain't no back talk Quiet, ain't no back talk. They good, people keep sneaking up on me like ninjas. The battery life is decent too. Recommend if you are looking for the best noise cancelling headphones even if they are expensive. You can get 80-90 percent of the performance from Anker or Sony but bose has that last little bit that sends them over the bar.

Worth the crazy price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned Bose qc45 because the connectivity was CRAP; horrifically frustrating. I've since been awaiting these, and they finally arrived. Pricey, but the comfort, material quality and performance of this headset finally lives up to what I expect from Bose. I like that there are physical buttons, and the touch volume feature is dependable. I enjoy the different immersion modes and I particularly appreciate aware mode, for when I do want to hear any smoke alarm, etc (noise cancelling is amazing). With these, I had best phone call (hear and be heard) experience yet. I have yet to use with korg piano and/or ham radio, but so far, this is a keeper already. I've been a Bose customer for many years, and the qc45 experience had me considering divorcing Bose. This qcUltra headset solicits redemption and I am since reasurred of Bose comitment to quality.

ANC King of the Hill
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TLDR: Best ANC headphones on the market with a few fixable flaws. If you want better sounding headphones, be prepared to open up your wallet and hear a lot more of the outside world. If you’re looking for the best ANC headphones out there, the Bose QC Ultra’s are the way to go. This is my first pair of Bose headphones and I’ve been blown away by their ANC performance. I’m not new to the ANC headphone scene-I previously owned the Sony XM4’s and XM5’s, and the Sennheiser Momentum 3’s and 4’s. The QC Ultra’s surpass all of them when it comes to noise cancellation. The ANC is a little more effective than the Sony’s and considerably better than the Sennheiser’s. These aren’t audiophile headphones but for the average listener, like myself, these sound great. I think the Sennheiser’s sound a little better but it’s not a significant advantage. If you’re looking for “higher quality” sounding headphones, you’re going to have sacrifice ANC performance and spend a decent amount more. I’ve tried a few of the more upscale headphones and they do sound better but the ANC isn’t anywhere close to the QC Ultra’s. The build quality is solidly above average. It’s mostly plastic with synthetic leather but adds a touch of luxury with genuine aluminum accents. Outside of the Momentum 3’s, the QC Ultra’s have the best build quality. They’re light but don’t feel or look cheap. Unlike a lot of other headphones in this segment, these do fold so they come with a smaller case. The case isn’t extremely rigid but feels relatively solid. I wouldn’t be worried about these getting crushed when throwing them in a suitcase or backpack. This shouldn’t really be a pro but, yes, you can manually turn the Ultra’s off. So what’s not too hot? The battery life is mediocre/average. Compared to all of the ANC headphones I’ve owned, they have the worst battery life. I use these daily and have to charge them more frequently than the others. It’s not horrible but when compared to the 60 hour (give or take) battery life of the Momentum 4’s, the mediocrity really stands out. For some reason, Bose decided not to give users the option of turning off ANC. I suspect that having that option would improve battery life significantly. The app is ok but the EQ is pretty basic. You can’t save individual sound profiles and easily switch between them like with the Sony’s or Sennheiser’s. Again, I have no idea why they took that route. If enough people complain, hopefully they’ll update the ANC off and EQ through a software update. The last complaint is mostly cosmetic and seems to be an issue with a lot of other headphones. The finish of the ear cups are fingerprint magnets. It doesn’t matter when you’re jamming at home but who wants to be in public with greasy looking headphones. Overall, I really like the QC Ultra’s and will use them until they fall apart. I wanted the most effective ANC headphones and these fit the bill. They sound great and I love using them every day. They’re far from perfect but do the best job of suppressing all that chitter chatter in the background. If you cam get these on sale, i think they’re one of the best bargains available.

Great for travel and not bad sounding
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great pair of cans. Maybe not the top of the audiophile ladder, but great for travel and working, if you don’t get too sweaty. They connect fairly well, but will become disconnected fairly quickly.

Bose knows! These QC Ultras are great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The are more comfortable than my QC700’s. The 700’s had a weird slide adjustment headpiece that was very cumbersome. The sound is excellent and the battery life feels like forever

The sound quality is just what I'm looking for vs. my old Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. I often find myself reaching for these more often than not. Would gladly buy again.

Better than before
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought the noise cancelling on my previous pair was impressive, but this one stopped all the crying babies from ruining my flight. The sound is crisp and clean. I even just like to turn them on without music for the peacefulness they create. And that blue is awesome. The only downside is that putting them in the case correctly is not as intuitive as my last pair, but I will figure out what yoga position they have to be in to fit correctly.

Great Headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these for flights and general use. I don't like airpods. They don't fit well FOR ME. These fit well and I appreciate the different modes for noise cancellation. They're lightweight and the case keeps them protected.
