Great light-weight, high quality headphones. Sound is outstanding. Active noise reduction is solid. Have not tried these out on a plane or done much with the "immersive" features yet, but looking forward to trying those. My only regret: not waiting a few weeks until Black Friday when the cost dropped by $50...

I love these headphones!!! If you don’t want to listen to your wife, you don’t have to! House alarm going off, can’t hear it. Dogs barking, who cares! Stupid DIY shows on TV, never fear Bose is here or hear. Whatever, just put on these headphones and listen to whatever you want. 20 plus hours of seeing your wife’s lips move but not having to hear her!!!

So far so good. I love these headphones. Mostly use with my Samsung phone. Noise canceling is superb. Comfortable on my head for hours. Not as expensive as the Sonos but every bit as good with sound. No complaints with program since I only use with spotify and some podcasts.

As someone deeply invested in the Apple ecosystem, I decided to try the Bose QC Ultra headphones, and the only reason I’ve kept them is their incredible sound quality. However, they come with their share of frustrations. When connected to wireless CarPlay, my phone seamlessly transfers what I was playing to the car speakers, which works well. The problem arises when I step out of the car. Once the headphones turn off and back on, they fail to pick up what I was previously listening to on my phone. This lack of continuity is frustrating, especially given the expectation of a smooth transition. Another annoyance is the overly sensitive wear detection—simply nodding or bending down makes the headphones think I’ve taken them off. Yet, at other times, they continue playing sounds even after I’ve taken them off, which is equally frustrating. Additionally, they don’t forward “Siri” or “Hey Siri” commands to my phone, which disrupts the hands-free experience I rely on with other devices in the Apple ecosystem. Despite these issues, I can’t deny how much I love the sound quality. If Bose could iron out these usability quirks, these headphones would be nearly perfect.

The noise-canceling feature is hands down the best I've ever experienced. It effectively blocks out ambient noise, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my audio without any distractions from the outside world. Whether I'm on a noisy commute or working in a bustling cafe, these headphones create a serene listening environment. However, one aspect where these headphones fall short is the battery life. While they boast decent battery performance, I've found myself needing to recharge them every 2-3 days with regular use. This falls short compared to other headphones I've owned that lasted longer between charges. On the bright side, the 'low power mode' is a neat feature that allows the headphones to conserve battery when not in use. You don't have to worry about turning them off completely, which is convenient for quick breaks between listening sessions. That said, there's a minor inconvenience with the Bluetooth connectivity when using the 'low power mode'. Occasionally, the headphones fail to automatically disconnect from my phone when I stop using them, requiring me to manually turn them off or disconnect them from my device. While this isn't a deal-breaker, it's a small annoyance that could be improved upon. Overall, the Bose QuietComfort Ultra impresses with its superb sound quality and top-notch noise-canceling capabilities. Despite the slightly shorter battery life, these headphones are still a solid choice for anyone seeking an immersive listening experience.
