The sound quality was one of a kind. It has a lot of beneficial features. Like changing the level of noise cancellation. Having at most 2 devices connected to the headphones. Those features were amazing. The only thing that threw me off is that I cannot turn off the noise cancellation and/or transparency modes. Sometimes I would want them off like a normal pair. And the noise cancelling feature sometimes it gives me a headache. Even at the lowest setting was a little too strong for me. Those were the only reasons that I had to returned them and got myself beats. It’s not the same but at least I can turn off the modes.

While the noise cancellation cannot be completely deactivated per se, you can always use Aware Mode via the Bose app for full transparency, enabling you to hear your surroundings while still enjoying your audio.
