ANC and transparency mode always on!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At full price of $420 they lack a very simple yet dealbreaker feature and the reason why I returned them. They are always on ANC and transparency mode, and there is no way of turning it off entirely. Sliding down the "ANC" only increases the transparency and viceversa. Its such a dumb choice from Bose since my wife's old QC35II have a button to switch from ANC high, low and off. I'm returned them and found the PX7 S2e for less than what I paid for these and they do allow you to turn the ANC and transparency to whatever you want, absolutely disappointed on Bose and until they add a software fix for this, Ill never purchase another pair of Bose headphones.

"Self voice" does not work
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The "Self Voice" feature does not work - this means you cannot hear yourself on phone calls or video conferences and you end up raising your voice so loud you disturb your neighbors. There are many others who posted about this on user forums. Bose support suggests turning off noise cancellation but this defeats the purpose of blocking outside noise while on calls. It would be nice if Bose would address this issue or if it is by design.

Posted .Hi.
Thank you for your post. Self Voice lets you hear your own voice through your headphones so it sounds more natural. In your scenario, you might just need to adjust it in the Bose Music app. Here are the steps, https://bose.life/3TPOLgm. If you require further assistance, please reach out to us here, https://bose.life/3BgUIIU. We would love to help.

Adverse reaction
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these for my daughter and after she used them a few days, her ears had a horrible reaction. Both ears turned bright red, had bumps and swelling! What chemical is on these that causes auch a reaction. I researched it online and there are others with the aame problem! What good are noise cancelling headphones if you cant use them because they make your ears break out? I woul not recommend these!

Disapointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I played the demo headphone in the BB store and was expecting to be blown away, given the price and brand, but no. I wasn't imoressed in any way. I guess all of the great reviews are from people who have never experienced quality, because these were not. In my opinion, I would value these at maybe $60.

Can't turn off anc active noise cancelling
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried them in store and they sounded great. But the anc controls confused me. It was after that I learned you can't turn off the anc. You can't adjust the anc strength. You can only adjust how much outside noise they let in. This means the anc strength is controlled by the headphones. That means if you have too much eardrum pressure from the anc, then tough!...bose doesn't want YOU to control the anc strength of headphone on YOUR head and ears!...SHAME!!!

Posted .Hi there,
It's wonderful to see that you find the sound great on the headphones. I'm surprised you're having trouble with the active noise-cancellation. You can adjust the level of ANC following our guide here https://bose.life/4a6Zbha through adjusting the mode you're in. You can also create a custom mode that lets you adjust how much ANC is in use. We'd also love to help you with the headphones, please contact us https://bose.life/contact for further help.

Posted .Hi Dave - sorry to hear about your experience so far! These headphones don't have a water resistance rating, so they're not as ideal for e.g. workouts as some of our in-ear solutions. However, sweating a little when using your QuietComfort Ultra Headphones shouldn't cause any issues. Our support team will be happy to help you if you find that issues are nonetheless occurring: https://support.bose.com/s/get-help-landing-page?language=en_US. Updates are not good enough.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought Bose headphones over the years . The 35QC and 700. Each time Bose update their software. You loose ANC quality. Not worth the hassle and money. This is a problem Bose have had and continues to have.

Posted .Hello, thanks for leaving your thoughts on the QC Ultra Headphones. With regard to multi-point connections, you do not need to turn Bluetooth off on each device when switching, you just need to pause the playback of audio. The headphones will then be able to switch between device. You can learn more about multi-point here: https://bose.life/3XSZSXw. Please give this a try the next time you use the headphones.
With battery life, you can expect up to 24 hours of use on a single charge, with a 3 hour charge fully charging the headphones.
