Great headphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great ANC, good intuitive controls, except for the media controls put into a single button. And comfortable, they adjust really well and feel very lightweight on the head.

Better than before
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought the noise cancelling on my previous pair was impressive, but this one stopped all the crying babies from ruining my flight. The sound is crisp and clean. I even just like to turn them on without music for the peacefulness they create. And that blue is awesome. The only downside is that putting them in the case correctly is not as intuitive as my last pair, but I will figure out what yoga position they have to be in to fit correctly.

Best Earphones for Travel
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So comfortable with a really wonderful sound quality. Take these with me on long flights and the battery lasts forever. I'm so thrilled with my purchase. Can't be without these on long hauls. Noise cancelling is a lifesaver with screaming babies.

Lighter, and foldable when traveling
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are very good because of the soft ear piece comfort, great sound quality as well as top of the line noise cancellation ability. But what I like most is that they are foldable, light weight and easy to carry when traveling. I traded in my Apple Airpods Max for these because the Apple Airpods were heavier, less comfortable, and were cumbersome when carrying around while traveling.

Loved these headphones
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Though I ended up returning these, I loved the comfort and sound quality. At first, I wasn't too fond of the spatial audio or Immersive feature as initially, it sounded too articial. After some days using it in this mode and I swtiched back to the Sony XM5s at had bought at the same time, I preferred the sound in Immersive over the XM5s. For me, the Bose did not run as "hot" as the Sony's. The XM5s made my ears hot and the Bose didn't. I live in Chicago and commute on buses and trains, and the Bose kept tuned out my surroundings during my rides. Outside in the cold, the Aware mode sounded almost as good as the Transperancy mode on the AirPods Maxs (returned those too because they were too heavy) and kept my ears warm. The QuietComfort Ultras are great if you commute and travel a lot like I do. Ultimately, someone gave me the Bose 700s for free and that was the only reason why I ended up returning these. If that did not happen, I recommend these over the Sonys, though the XM5s have superior battery life to both the Bose and Airpod Max.

Ultra comfortable!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best headset I've ever used. I've been working remotely for years, and these are the most comfortable set that can be worn all day. The noise cancellation is superior! Well done Bose!

Excellent Headset- but lacks bass
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not sure what happened, but I was expecting to be blown away with the sound this produces but fell short. The main complaint is the lack of bass, it’s quite flat. I will sometimes pull out my $30 headset to listen to music/videos where I want to feel rumble in my ears. What is good about this device, is the noise cancellation, ear comfort, and light weight on head. I struggle with turning this off/on, since the Bluetooth button is also the power off/on button.

ANC King of the Hill
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TLDR: Best ANC headphones on the market with a few fixable flaws. If you want better sounding headphones, be prepared to open up your wallet and hear a lot more of the outside world. If you’re looking for the best ANC headphones out there, the Bose QC Ultra’s are the way to go. This is my first pair of Bose headphones and I’ve been blown away by their ANC performance. I’m not new to the ANC headphone scene-I previously owned the Sony XM4’s and XM5’s, and the Sennheiser Momentum 3’s and 4’s. The QC Ultra’s surpass all of them when it comes to noise cancellation. The ANC is a little more effective than the Sony’s and considerably better than the Sennheiser’s. These aren’t audiophile headphones but for the average listener, like myself, these sound great. I think the Sennheiser’s sound a little better but it’s not a significant advantage. If you’re looking for “higher quality” sounding headphones, you’re going to have sacrifice ANC performance and spend a decent amount more. I’ve tried a few of the more upscale headphones and they do sound better but the ANC isn’t anywhere close to the QC Ultra’s. The build quality is solidly above average. It’s mostly plastic with synthetic leather but adds a touch of luxury with genuine aluminum accents. Outside of the Momentum 3’s, the QC Ultra’s have the best build quality. They’re light but don’t feel or look cheap. Unlike a lot of other headphones in this segment, these do fold so they come with a smaller case. The case isn’t extremely rigid but feels relatively solid. I wouldn’t be worried about these getting crushed when throwing them in a suitcase or backpack. This shouldn’t really be a pro but, yes, you can manually turn the Ultra’s off. So what’s not too hot? The battery life is mediocre/average. Compared to all of the ANC headphones I’ve owned, they have the worst battery life. I use these daily and have to charge them more frequently than the others. It’s not horrible but when compared to the 60 hour (give or take) battery life of the Momentum 4’s, the mediocrity really stands out. For some reason, Bose decided not to give users the option of turning off ANC. I suspect that having that option would improve battery life significantly. The app is ok but the EQ is pretty basic. You can’t save individual sound profiles and easily switch between them like with the Sony’s or Sennheiser’s. Again, I have no idea why they took that route. If enough people complain, hopefully they’ll update the ANC off and EQ through a software update. The last complaint is mostly cosmetic and seems to be an issue with a lot of other headphones. The finish of the ear cups are fingerprint magnets. It doesn’t matter when you’re jamming at home but who wants to be in public with greasy looking headphones. Overall, I really like the QC Ultra’s and will use them until they fall apart. I wanted the most effective ANC headphones and these fit the bill. They sound great and I love using them every day. They’re far from perfect but do the best job of suppressing all that chitter chatter in the background. If you cam get these on sale, i think they’re one of the best bargains available.

Like a Nap for Your Ears
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Slipped these babies on and suddenly my noisy apartment turned into a zen garden. They’re so light I forgot I was wearing them—and I’ve worn them into a Zoom call, the shower, and once, almost into bed. The comfort? Chef’s kiss. Feels like my ears are getting a first-class hug. And the noise canceling? I didn’t hear my neighbor’s drum practice, my dog’s barking, or my own self-doubt. 10/10 would ignore the world again.

Good pair of headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds better than the Bose 700 I have. Better bass. The immersive audio could use an update for better head tracking. I’m sure a new firmware is in the works. I didn’t realize it doesn’t have the touch sensor on the earcup like Bose 700 before getting them. I think they got away from it to make room for bigger battery. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not get me wrong and take me personally base on my 4 months of experience with the bose quietcomfort ultra headphones I like it so far because it feels comfortable it just feels a little bit lose on my head just a little bit and the noise cancellation is good and the sound quality is good and it does a good job of reducing most noises it does not reduce some noises and I do believe the connection and the noise cancellation and the sound quality could be better with more clear sound quality nosie cancellation and audio calls other than that so far I like the bose quietcomfort ultra headphones

Bose QC Ultra Headphones Review – Great Value 279
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the Bose QC Ultra headphones for $279, especially since the Gen 2 model is priced at $450. After using them, it’s hard to justify paying that much more because the differences are minimal. The noise cancellation is excellent, which is where Bose really shines. They block out airplane noise, traffic, and background chatter very effectively. Sound quality is clean and well-balanced, with solid bass that doesn’t overwhelm vocals or mids. Comfort is another strong point. The headphones are lightweight and easy to wear for long periods. Battery life is also good and more than enough for daily use or travel. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks. The microphone quality during phone calls is disappointing for a headset at this price. Call clarity isn’t great, and people on the other end often mention that my voice sounds distant or unclear. I also didn’t enjoy the “follow your head” option in Immersive Audio mode. It feels more distracting than immersive and doesn’t add much to the listening experience for me. Overall, at the $279 sale price, the QC Ultra headphones are a solid buy.
