I recently bought these headphones for a replacement of my old JBL ones. I was a bit on the fence because of the price however I absolutely love them. The noice cancelling features surpasses my old ones and they do not fall off my head like my old ones. They feel comfortable on my small head and are adjustable.

Nice, but not worth the extra money.

Not worth the extra money. The Q-35 functions just as good with more intuitive controls. The ultra has a long lag between turning on and connecting to devices. Same thing when turning off. It’s difficult to tell if they are on or off leading to a dead battery. It also requires one to download Bose app for additional controls. The headset buttons require some deciphering, such as the volume control—it’s not an actual button(s)—but rather a slide you gotta feel around to ensure the volume doesn’t explode in your ears. I use them on airplanes and the noise canceling struggles against the roar of engines, something the 35’s handle quite easily. On the plus side, they are comfortable. The sound quality is what you can expect from Bose. Overall, nice, but not worth the price premium (they charge extra for the black too).

    Solid Headphones!

I’ve been using the Bose QuietComfort Ultra (Gen 1) for a couple of weeks, and I’m very impressed. The noise cancellation is excellent — it easily blocks out office noise, traffic, and background chatter. Sound quality is clear and balanced with strong bass, and the Immersive Audio adds a nice sense of space. They’re also extremely comfortable. I can wear them for hours without any pressure or fatigue, which is great for long workdays and travel. Battery life has been reliable and lasts me through most of the day. The only downside is the price, but the performance matches the premium feel. If you’re looking for great sound, comfort, and top-notch noise canceling, these headphones are a great choice. Highly recommended.

    The Best Bose so far

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Bose third set this one is the best so far touch a button switch from one connected device to another and then another so simple. Lightweight your ears don’t get really hot and sweaty like the 700 series I went through 3 exchanges on those before I finally gave up. No charger is a minus battery life is a plus lasts days and to turn them off simply lay them down.pick them up put them on and they connect to the last device you were using

I want to give this product five stars but I just can't. First of all the sound quality is excellent but should be expected from Bose. I just recently purchased these and I'm finding some quirks like the creaking in the headphones that's a little annoying. I primarily bought these for the gym and to be honest they could fit a little bit more snug. I've done some research and it seems that the creaking is a problem and there is remedies such as lubricant. Also I heard that the creaking goes away over time. But still annoying for $400. I'm going to try the silicone lubricant and see if that helps I really do like the sound quality so I'm going to deal with this and keep them. I just wish that when they engineer expensive headphones like this they would remedy these issues before they put the product to sale. You can do a little bit better BOSE!!!

I think this headphone is marvelous! I have paired it with several of my source devices, and it works well with all so far. The sound is rich and clear, and power, volume, and Bluetooth operation is easy. It automatically lets me talk and hear telephone calls from tablet or phone. It is comfortable to wear. The sound cancelling feature: full and partial is a fine bonus.

Gift for my husband. His last pair lasted 7 years, and he's travels so much that he's 1K premier, so they take a beating. We know Bose are the best. But when the battery finally started to deplete faster than normal over the past month, we knew it was time for a new pair. Surprised him for Christmas and he said the sound is even better, which we didn't think was possible. The color is suuuper dark which is adores. Bose continues to outdo themselves!

Accoustics are fantastic, sound deadening is excellent. Best headphones I have ever purchased! I like the way they fit my head, and will be perfect for college dorm room studying and walking around campus for my freshmen year. Overall purchase was based on recommendations from others and their overall rating was correct!

As an owner of the Bose QC 35 II headphones, I was excited to try out the latest offering in their series, the Quiet Comfort Ultra. Overall, I think the Ultra is a significantly better headphone than the 35 II, but I feel that the quality of materials used in some places don’t quite live up to the premium price tag. Sound quality: To me the sound quality is very good to excellent. I performed so A/B comparisons between the Ultra and 35 II and I will say that the sound from the Ultra is significantly better. Individual instruments stand out much more in the Ultra. I also like that the Bose app now lets you customize the EQ for the headphones. There are a few presets, but I personally preferred the sound when I increased the mid and treble frequencies. Noise cancellation: Noise cancellation has always been one of the selling points of Bose headphones and I don’t think the Ultra will disappoint anyone. While I mostly use my headphones in an office environment that isn’t very loud, it certainly helps drown out the frequencies from the AC system. I haven’t had a chance to use them on an airplane yet, so I can’t comment on how they work in a harsh environment. I do like the app allows you to customize how much noise cancellation is active. The highest level of noise cancellation causes a pressure irritation in my ears, so I am glad that I can take it down a level and still have a good amount of noise cancellation without the pressure. Call quality: Since I primarily use the headphones at my office, I have made a few Zoom calls with them. While I cannot comment on how my voice sounded to other participants, I was very happy with the quality of audio I heard from the other attendees. Standby mode: The addition of automatic standby mode is a feature that I am very glad to see included. There have been numerous occasions where I accidentally left my headphones powered on overnight, only to find they were out of power the next day. Now with the automatic standby mode, I don’t need to worry about it. They just go into standby mode after a bit of inactivity. Build quality: This is the one area I am a little disappointed in. While I wouldn’t say it is worse than my QC 35II’s, I will say that they aren’t quite up to the level of some of the premium headphones you get from Bowers and Wilkins or the Apple AirPod Max. I found that some of the plastic on headphones shell feels a little cheap compared to the ones from those brands. Also, I have noticed a few creeks when I pushed the multifunction button and folded up the headphones.

Horrible policy for exchange non working item

Please save yourself money and time and sanity never buy an open box item even the condition are “excellent”. Got a pair while non open box on sale for “290” got an excellent open box for “260”. Item not working can’t connect take it back to the store won’t exchange even willing to pay the difference during the promotional period. Want me to pay extra $200 because item no longer on sale. On the phone with customer service “can’t understand 90% of what he said” transfer 3 times and still couldn’t get my item exchange for a working one. My daughter like the item bc it’s very light and sound quality good just need it to stay connect. Best Buy if you read this please do better with customer service.

    Bose Review

I bought these headphones because I needed some sort of noise-cancelling headphones. I really enjoyed my friends Bose 35 ones so I decided to go with these. At first they took a bit of adjusting but I really love the noise cancelling and the audio quality. Pros: - noise cancelling. It really cancels out those repetitive noises like soft hums, and cancels out most louder noises like the dishwasher. - the audio is very HD, I enjoy feeling like I’m almost in the crowd of a concert without having to go to the concert. Cons - I don’t really like how finicky the headphones are. You shake them and they kinda jiggle like they aren’t completely sturdy - I really liked the 35 Bose button that you just slide to turn it on. I don’t mind holding the button to turn on/off this advice but sometimes it just doesn’t work when turning it on
