Amazing Sound and Crazy Battery Life

This is our second pair, as I bought an earlier version years ago. My wife has now discovered the joy and sanctuary of Bose noise-cancellation while traveling, and can't imagine leaving the house without them. My older pair is still going strong, too. Just had to replace the ear pads.

Good battery life but…

The battery life is excellent and easily lasts through long days without needing a recharge. However, I’ve experienced some connectivity issues, including faint static sounds even when the device is nearby, which can be distracting. I also find that they slip from my head a bit, especially when studying, which affects comfort. While the sound is decent, I was hoping for better overall audio quality given the price. Solid headphones for comfort and battery life, but the sound, fit, and connectivity hold them back.

Best comfort but not the best sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If your priority is to wear headphones for longer (in office environments, flights) and you are not audiophile you will enjoy these. The physical buttons and missing touch options is good for winters and windy conditions so that you don't accidentally change something. Sony XM series has better codec support and thus better audio quality but these are just much more comfortable. I do wish Bose was not cheap to exclude flight adapter that it used to bundle in last decade but most newer planes work with 3.5 so maybe this is not that bad. Sony does app better. Bose just does not have customization (to change the audio signature). These are closer to 4.5/5

Which is good when you’re trying to drown out the outlaying sounds!!! Quality of music is really amazing!

Suffice it to say, they loved it, especially complementing sound quality and the overall comfort of the headphones. And these headphones were put through their first field test not soon thereafter: my fiance used them during our flight from California to DC (and back) for the holidays. Suffice it to say, he had a more pleasant flight experience than me because he couldn't hear anything - even though there was a rambunctious toddler sitting behind us and a crying infant on the way home. The headphones also came in a very handsome and sturdy case.

I live the comfort in the over the ear and that I can hear just the music and no background noise.
