Shopping for a new pair of headphones can be tough with all the options available at so many different prices and feature sets. If you are looking for high end, great sounding, noise canceling headphones then the Bose Quietcomfort headphones are a fantastic option! You could step up to the Ultra, but I am so happy with these that I can’t imagine most people need to step up to that. The sound quality is unrivaled in the mainstream headphone market. It’s deep, rich audio that excels at everything I throw at it from hip hop to classic rock to folk. It’s hard to take them off! The microphone is solid and blocking out unwanted noise and accentuating your voice to your caller. Noise cancellation is exactly what you want, lower end noises from planes and vehicles, while still hearing a hint of a voice in the case that someone is talking to you (while headphones are playing something). I have very few cons to complain about with these headphones, one being that it’s kind of annoying to have an app for everything, but at least you don’t have to create an account to use the features like EQ customization or Noise Canceling customization. The other con that I’m a little worried about is that the plastic feels a little cheap and I worry about long term durability. Definitely glad they come with a travel case as I don’t imagine they would hold up loose in a bag regularly. All this light plastic does factor into just how light they are though! Even a big headed dude like me (hat size is XL+) was able to wear them for hours with no discomfort. These are easily the new go to! Pros: Exceptional sound quality Lightweight and comfortable (even for big heads like me!) Amazing battery life Long standby time Noise canceling is superb Customizable through the app Great microphone Easy multi-pair Cons: Have to download the app to do more than two noise canceling modes All the plastics feel worrisome in terms of survivability

I love the look of the headphones but the sound quality wasn’t that great. Also, people couldn’t hear me when trying to talk on the phone while using the headphone's. I tried using the cord that came with it and it still didn’t work.

It has been 20 days after purchase and the right side of the headphones has already had sound quality issues. Especially in Aware and Quiet mode. Super annoying and cannot fix. I’ve only used these a few times and I cannot even return!!! Opt in for the more expensive ones (even though these are 350).

    Horrible Quality Control at Bose

This is the 3rd set of Bose headphones I've purchased. All 3 have been defective from the factory as they cut out sound for a second every hour or so. Update firmware, clear BT history, turn off multipoint, blah, blah. Only Bose can fix these issues but they don't, they just give you the same futile steps and offer a refurb, which also will most likely be defective. You also can't listen while charging - and battery power is required if using the optional wired connection. Bose used to be a reputable company that made quality products - too bad the QC on these things are garbage. The sound is OK, but no more than 1 star can be given for headphones that cut out audio every 60 minutes. The experience is utter trash.

I’ve definitely had better quality headphones from Jbl and Sony, these don’t hold up in comparison at all and are no where worth the almost 300$. I got a “brand new-opened box” pair and wanted to see if they were better than my old Sonys. They started to act up at about a week into using them, glitchy sound connections, weird buzzing, and all around terrible noise cancelling. I wish I’d seen the short return window so I could get my money back. I can’t recommend these at all and likewise for any “Best Buy like new returns”

Bose has an excellent reputation, so I was excited about these headphones. I wore them for the first time on a plane last night, and the noise cancel feature was minimal at best. The plane noise was still extremely loud, and I had to turn up my headphones almost all the way to hear my audio book. I've always had very good hearing, and my airpods block out much more. These are lovely to look at, but the function doesn't live up to the price or expectation.

Hi there, and thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that the noise cancellation didn’t perform as expected during your flight. The Bose QuietComfort headphones are designed to reduce consistent background noise like engine hum, but performance can vary depending on fit, positioning, and ambient conditions.

To get the most out of the ANC feature, we recommend ensuring the headphones are snugly and properly seated around your ears.
Here's a troubleshooting guide that can help you with the noise cancelation issue: https://support.bose.com/s/article/qc-headphonearn-noise-cancellation-is-not-working---ka08c000001bucnaaa?language=en_US
