Unfortunately this new generation does not hold up in quality. At first they felt great out of the box, but after less than a year the ear cushions are already tearing. The biggest issue is connectivity. They will randomly cut in and out with my device, the only device they have ever been paired to, making a crackling zipper like noise before reconnecting. For a $400 pair of headphones that is the last thing you want to deal with. Maybe I just ended up with a defective pair, but overall I cannot recommend these. It is a real letdown because the QC35 set such a high standard.
