Furthermore, the good news is that the level of noise cancellation can be adjusted using the Bose app to better match your listening preferences:
Quiet Mode: Maximum noise cancellation to help block out distractions.
Aware Mode: Lets you hear your surroundings while listening to audio.
Custom Modes: Create up to two personalized modes with your preferred noise cancellation or wind-blocking settings.
Note: The headphones default to Quiet Mode when powered on, but you can use the Bose app to have them start in the last mode used instead.
