The best out there, and they are. It’s just that the sound quality and noise cancellation does not beat Sony’s. Not by a long shot.

The headphones are nice, I just wish the sound was a little louder

While we would advise general caution when it comes to excessive volumes, what you can do is make sure the volume on your mobile device (if separate) is turned up sufficiently. The QuietComfort Headphones’ noise cancellation can be adjusted to your preference through the Bose app. Please also check your settings in the app to ensure you are in “Quiet” mode rather than “Aware” mode. In “Aware” mode, the external microphones feed outside sounds into the headset, which can make other noises or the noise floor seem louder.
