Just to clarify, QuietComfort Headphones do not have touch or swipe controls. These features are available only on QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (1st and 2nd gen).

Had to return despite it being better at everything else. For that price point this should not have been an issue at all.

The headphones are nice, I just wish the sound was a little louder

While we would advise general caution when it comes to excessive volumes, what you can do is make sure the volume on your mobile device (if separate) is turned up sufficiently. Hate to find that there was no finger touch controlled voice. More expensive with less features did nt find much difference in sound quality as compared to my old one. There is a slight improvement in noise cancellation.
