    Top Tier Noise Cancellation

Bose has continually been at the forefront of active noise cancellation and with this latest iteration of the QuietComfort headphones they have not been dethroned. To go along with this superior noise cancellation the slightly updated sound signature and additional features within the app definitely sets these headphones apart. Right out of the box the QuietComfort headphones appear similar to other Bose headphones as they feel well made and are extremely light. They are nearly identical in all physical features though this may be one of those if it isn`t broke don`t fix it scenarios as they are extremely comfortable. The USB-C charging port is great and the action button on one ear cup and minimal buttons on the other for volume/playback is the perfect mix without overwhelming the listener with buttons. Onto the actual performance though, these QuietComfort headphones have a nearly perfect balance and can be tweaked in the app to your preference though one thing to mention is that from the prior version the base does seem to be more pronounced. As I had previously mentioned, the noise cancelation is what really sets these apart and Bose has even improved in that facet with these. Within the app they now allow you to tweak the sensitivity of the noise cancellation as opposed to either on or off. Additionally, there is also a new "wind block" feature you can toggle which actually makes a difference when listening in windy environments. The other additional feature is with the action button you can now hear the current battery level or launch Spotify, which I do find myself using rather often. When discussing the actual use of the headphones I do have to mention battery life as these are advertised at 24 hours and they actually live up to that in my extended use. Overall, between the noise cancellation, sound quality, and app improvements you really can`t go wrong with these headphones. The design may be getting slightly stale, but the comfort and light weight are tough to improve upon in that respect. Thus, all of the positives of these headphones overwhelm the only knock one could have when it comes to design so for that very reason I would definitely recommend these to anyone in the market for a pair of over-ear headphones.

Hi there! Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your QuietComfort Headphones. Intermittent audio can happen due to several factors, including wireless interference, distance from the paired device, low battery levels on either device, or outdated software. Physical obstacles such as walls or metal surfaces can also weaken the signal, and in some cases, protective cases or certain devices may interfere with the connection.

Hi Sheila, I'm sorry to hear that you experienced problems with calls. The fact the caller couldn't hear you may suggest that either something is blocking the microphone port, or your smartphone is incorrectly routing audio. Please check that the call is utilizing the microphone of the headphones during the call and not the smartphone's built-in microphone. If the headphones are selected as the mic source, I suggest unpairing and creating a new connection. Please also try restarting the smartphone.

    Great headphones

So, I’ve owned these for less than a week. But I want to go ahead and leave a review. These are awesome headphones! I work 12 hour shifts and they are really comfortable. In those 12 hours of work I have only gotten uncomfortable once, but that was my fault for not adjusting them. After adjusting them that went away. I definitely found the sweet spot. The clamp force is just right for my size head (7 1/4 approximate hat size, if I remember correctly). My ears fit well in the ear cups. Next, let’s talk about sound quality. Holy smokes they sound great! Super clear! While I did use the Bose app to make the sound to my liking (which honestly, the app itself could use improvements), I found right out of the box they sounded great. Bass is great! Treble is great! Mids are even great! And the volume is outstanding! All the cheap headphones I usually have to have the volume maxed out while I work. Not these. With these headphones 50-70 % is sufficient. 70% is almost too loud. I tried 100% and had to turn it back down. I’m not an audiophile but I can definitely distinguish instruments with these. And if the song was recorded say, to start on the right side, that’s what you get! Excellent sound! My only qualms is it only has 2 modes: quiet and aware. I personally think it needs a normal mode. That said both modes are excellent. In aware mode I can hear my surroundings. Voices are very slightly muffled but it doesn’t really matter if you pause whatever you are listening to. Quiet mode is QUIET. For real! I work around some noise and in quiet mode I can’t hear it. Now, I said qualm(s). The only other thing I would change about these headphones are just a slightly thicker padding for the ears and top of the head. They are slightly thin. But still comfortable. If I were to work at the Bose factory I’d suggest adding a few millimeters of padding to both the ear cups and top of the head. Even with that suggestion, these are still comfortable. Lastly, and this is probably my personal preference, the battery life. The last pair of cheap headphones I have had an 80 hour battery life before needing recharged. These won’t get that. (I believe these are rated at about 30-32 hours.) Still not bad. Also, the build quality seems sufficient enough. I guess time will tell on that matter. Overall, these are awesome!! If you’re looking at these headphones go ahead and buy them! Sound is phenomenal!!

Extremely disappointed after 8 years of incredible listening on the QC35ii. There’s a popping/distortion noise whenever you pause music, something with the chip is turning on and then turning off. Makes browsing Twitter or similar platforms where audio plays and pauses very jarring. Noticed it immediately and never had this problem with another pair of headphones.

Still One of the Best on the Market

This is Bose's newest iteration of their active noise cancelling headphones. Moving away from the naming scheme of QCnn, these are now just called QuietComfort, so it can be a little confusing when searching for these headphones. Overall, initial impressions are great. If coming into this without any prior knowledge of previous models, these win in several categories ranging from its active noise cancellation to the overall comfort and sound of the unit. As with their previous models, these are one of the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. The padding is soft, but not too soft that it will feel loose when wearing them. The headphones are light enough that you will not feel any fatigue from long hours of wearing them. Functionality of this headphone is simple, yet not lacking. While it does not have touch gestures like the ones from Sony, you have the buttons to control volume and play/pause. Double click to go to next, and triple to go to previous. Answer and decline phone calls with the same button using single tap or long hold. The active button allows you to disable the noise cancelling and hear outside noise in addition to activate voice assistant. This can be a little overwhelming and you will definitely forget some of the controls if you don't use these features often, but they do allow for a phone free experience. If you are coming in from previous models, then this will feel right at home. In terms of active noise cancellation, it is one of the best in class. This will essentially block all noise regarding conversation/background noise. What is most impressive is how it can make the power tools I have running at 90+ decibels sound whisper quiet. All of this was observed without music, once you add in even a little music you become completely separated from the outside world. In terms of sound, it is acceptable. Out of the box, it is a little bass heavy but not overwhelming. The trebles still come through as needed, but not as clear if listening to stuff like classical piano music. This can be compensated through their equalizer app, so not all is lost. Bluetooth connection is also seamless. You can simultaneously connect to multiple devices, and the headphones will also switch between which ever device is playing music. To conclude, these are still one of the best active noise cancelling headphones on the market. While not a significant upgrade from its previous models, it is still a great recommendation if coming in fresh. You will be hard pressed to find disappointment from these headphones.

Unmatched Noise Cancellation, Great Sound Quality

Bose has delivered an exceptional product once again with the QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear headphones. They come with a travel case, a USB C cable, and an audio cable with a built-in microphone. The setup process is incredibly straightforward, and the headphones work seamlessly straight out of the box. They pair easily with multiple devices and offer a multi-device connection for simultaneous use, making them very convenient. The headphones can be used without the app, though the accompanying Bose mobile application enhances the overall user experience and allows firmware updates. The headphones fit extremely well, seal nicely, and are still lightweight enough to allow listening sessions that last hours. They also have well-placed control buttons, although it may take some time to get used to the multi-function button on the right earcup since it controls various commands, but it quickly becomes intuitive. Using the Bose mobile application, you can customize the left button to open a selected app or perform a task. The build quality is superb, with high-quality plastic that feels solid and robust. Connection wise, you’ll find a USB-C plug for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack that allows for a hard-wired connection. The sound quality is crystal clear across all paired devices. Music wise, endless genres of tracks were played, and the headphones maintain Bose’s signature well-balanced, neutral tone. The call quality is truly impressive, with the mic and audio noise cancelling features working efficiently to reduce background noise and ensure your voice is heard clearly, even in noisy environments. The noise cancellation feature offers several sensitivity settings, with two primary modes - Quiet and Aware. Bose continues to lead the pack with their impressive active noise cancelling technology. The EQ settings are basic, but they are enough to offer a personalized audio experience. In summary, the Bose QuietComfort headphones are an excellent choice for those seeking a premium audio experience, requiring noise cancelling and multi-device connectivity. They effectively minimize moderate background noise, maintain a high-quality audio performance, and uphold voice clarity in noisy environments. Their premium price tag is justified by the superior quality they deliver. The Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones are a fantastic investment for anyone needing superior sound quality on the move.

I ordered online and picked up. Later in the evening I opened the package and tried to use. Turns out the unit was used. Upon inspecting the original box package it was clear the package had been opened, item placed in it, and then resealed. I was leaving on a 1 month trip out the country the next morning and could not go into the store. Upon returning BestBuy refused to replace the unit because it was beyond 30 days even though I had called the online number to report the problem. I’m fairly certain BeatBuy sold me a stolen headset that someone cleverly “washed” through a BestBuy buy/return.

    Amazing Noise Cancelling Headphones

Bose, in my opinion, is one of the most trusted brands in the world. Whenever you buy a Bose product you know you’re getting a quality piece of equipment. Everything I’ve owned for the past 20+ years from them has held up well and always performed as it should. Whenever I travel, I always use their noise cancelling headphones because it is the best at drowning out Airplane cabin noise while still delivering great quality sound. These new QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling will be the 3rd set I’ve owned from Bose and they performed exactly as I expected them to. Initial unboxing of the headphones was simple with minimalistic packaging. I always appreciate the nice leather cases they include with their headsets. The headphones come with a very short charging cable that could stand to be a bit longer. Initial charging had the headphones dangling from the wall. Once charged, the initial setup with the Bose Music app took less than 30 seconds. The app itself can control many functions of the headset including a Quiet (Noise cancelling) or Aware mode, which allows you to hear others around you. You also can create your own modes and the level of noise cancelling for that created mode. There’s also an EQ mode that allows the bass, mid and treble to be adjusted. The app will allow you to adjust volume and shows the battery life of the headphones. The Source allows you to change your Bluetooth connections with the headset. And the Shortcut button can add functionality to the left side button for battery level or spotify shortcuts. Hopefully they will add more options for that in the future. The app also allows you to software update as well as adjust Auto Power Off options. Overall, I’m very impressed with the robust functionality of the app. The bread and butter of these headphones is the Noise Cancelling ability and quality of the sound. I don’t believe there is a better set of travel headphones on the market. These headphones deliver crisp beautiful sound whether it’s action movies or any type of music you throw at it. The noise cancellation works to perfection without being too overpowering. Not to mention they’re comfortable, you can wear these headphones for hours and not feel like your ears hurt, which is very rare for me. The battery life so far in testing has been great and has lasted long enough for any task I’ve thrown at it. I’ve enjoyed having the exterior buttons to change songs and switching between Active and Quiet mode on the fly. In conclusion I can’t recommend these headphones enough. The QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are the best headphones on the market, period. They produce quality sound, amazing noise cancelling technology with a solid rechargeable battery life, app connectivity and they’re very comfortable! What more could you ask for in a headset?! Buy them, you won’t be disappointed.
