Not so great.

Has a minor flaw, but sound great
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones The set up is very easy, just scan the code in the box and put the headset on to connect through Bluetooth. I had 70% when I received my Bose headphones. The Bose Quiet Comfort headphones are very comfortable for extended period of time to listening to music. The quality of the Bose headphones is excellent! The headphone is adjustable to fit comfortably on the head and ears, with or without wearing glasses. I own quite a few sets of brand earbuds and headphones. WOW! I must say the Bose Quiet Comfort are the best sounding headsets I've ever owned. You can easily adjust the SoundTouch to your likings, I like to use the bass booster setting in the Bose app because I like more bass. The music is both crisp and clear. I think Bose has established themselves as the best in sound quality with these. The Bose headset picks up more music notes and sounds seem to be missed by the Bose competitors. The noise around you disappears but you can still hear some noise in your surroundings unless you blast the music in the headphones. You definitely will not be disappointed with the Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. Battery life is excellent; however, they do take a bit to fully charge if you let the battery drain all the way. I would recommend charging them when the battery life drops 50% or under if you plan on being away from a plug for a while. The right ear cup has volume controls, forward or backward mode for music selection and can answer phone calls, and the charging port. Also, on the right ear cup you can power off or on. The left ear cup has an AUX port and a button to toggle between "quiet and aware" modes. There are different modes to help with the wind cancellation and you can choose no more than 2 at one given time. The other two modes are a permanent fixture, so you can have up to four total modes. I could not use the Bose app on my, Ipod even though I could connect the music on my Ipod to the headphones., it can only be used on my IPHONE or IPAD The case is also nice and makes it easier to transport. They have become my dedicated headphones for listening to my music to walk, travel or just listen to music at home without disturbing others around me. One flaw: the headphones seem to slightly pause the music from time to time. But the Bose earbuds are better in noise cancellation. Would I recommend these headphones? Definitely!

I. Love. These.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I feel like really nice headphones are a total luxury item for me. I have a simple pair that has been "getting the job done" and allowing me to watch a show in bed, without waking my husband, or let me hear a new song or two and they have been fine. I've been toying with getting myself a new pair of good headphones (my last ones were Bose and lasted from 2016 until about a year ago when my son starting "sharing" them with me) and I am SO GLAD that I did and that I chose the beautiful pair! I charged them up and turned them on this weekend and walked all over my house cleaning and never had any issues with them slipping, in fact they are so comfortable that I really did forget they were on my head a few times! I used the vacuum and while I could see that the noise from it, really ticked everyone else in the living room off, I was having a grand ole time and was completely unbothered! I cleaned up spilled litter in the laundry room and not even that clanking interrupted my "jams". Speaking of my "jams", the moment that I put them on and chose a song to try them out, I was blown away by how beautiful the standard mix was! I haven't adjusted anything and I have been enjoying the most beautiful bass, that you can feel and hear but it does not overwhelm the treble and/or singing at all... just a total chef's kiss, right out of the packaging!

Switched from sony to bose - big mistake!

I downloaded de app thinking that sound control could improve its quality but that didn't happen. Sony's sound quality beats bose believe it or not.

Great product refresh, but the app needs work
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pretty happy to see that the next generation of Bose's QuietComfort line seems to be just as good as ever. The fit is quite nice - loose enough to be comfortable, but tight enough to actually stay on my head when I'm looking about. I do like the way the speakers are tilted so that they don't squish your ears, and they're pretty comfortable to wear with glasses. The control scheme is familiar - the left side button that is remappable, the right volume buttons and play/pause button and power switch are all in the same places and do the same things as older models. The sound quality is nice as ever, allowing you to hear detail in the music without drowning in bass or having the "oops, all mids!" situation. The build quality is solid - I don't feel like these are going to crack apart when I take them off, and they're pretty inconspicuous and not flashy or garish (though, I'll admit I always notice it when I see someone else with a pair of the QC35s or the QC45s slung around their neck). And, as always, Bose stuck a really nice carrying case in the packaging, complete with a USB cable and an AUX cord. They're just very nice headphones all around, though maybe the top padding could be a bit softer. That being said, the Bose Music app is irritating me at the moment. These headphones feature multi-point connection - you can memorize six connections, and use the app to tell the headset what devices you want it connected to. This is a lifesaver for me, because it's really nice to just switch a connection in the app when I want to move from my school laptop to my gaming laptop, for instance. It will also do this automatically, but it just kind of latches on to whatever it sees first, which can be a problem if you have more than three things to connect them to. Anyway, the problem is, I randomly can't use this very useful feature because the app doesn't seem to be very good at remembering my devices. Nor can I sometimes adjust things like the self-voice during calls feature (which is very nice because it feels more natural, but depending on the environment I may need to turn it up or down). Since it's *all* of my headphones having this issue, very suddenly, across both iOS and Android, I'm pretty sure it's just some issue with the app and I do believe in Bose to fix it. However, you should keep in mind that you may have to put the headset into pairing mode with the app open to get the thing to recognize it. Other than the app being weird, there is one issue I did have - at one point, while paired to both an iPhone 11 and a Google Pixel 6a, I had to move my music over to the iPhone because the audio stream from the Pixel kept cutting out and becoming crackly, as though I were listening to music over a badly damaged AUX cable. This happened once and then never happened again, so I'm not really sure what went on there. It might have been a fluke, might have been some weird issue with my phones, or it could be the headset - I'm genuinely not sure. Overall, I think the Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones are a pretty worthy successor to the QuietComfort 45. They're definitely going to be my top recommendation next time someone asks me about what headphones they should buy. If the app didn't have the issues I mentioned, I'd honestly consider them to be flawless.

Posted .Hello Tay, I am sorry to hear the QuietComfort Headphones have not quite met your expectations,
If you are having a hard time getting these powered up.
If the headphones are unresponsive, you can reset them. Resetting the headphones resets the product controls and reboots the headphones. It doesn’t clear any device settings.
Connect the small end of the USB cable into the USB-C port on the left earcup.
Slide the Power/Bluetooth switch to the right. At the same time, connect the other end into a USB-A power source such as a computer or wall charger. When the reset is complete, the status light glows according to the current charge level.
If you run into any issues, please reach out to support and we’ll be happy to help!

Great headphones, perfect for music and calls
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones are a really great set of headphones. They fold for easy storage in the travel case. They also charge really fast and have great battery life. So far I can go at least a whole day using them for 8+ hours and still have battery left. The sound quality for music and calls is also top notch despite the compact size. They are also extremely comfortable on my ears and head, and I can leave them out for hours without discomfort. They are also easy to turn on and off without looking, and just as easy to pair. The voice feature is great too, when I put them on, the headphones tell me the current battery level. I can also fast switch to different devices the and headphones announce the name of the device I'm connected to. I'm able to easily and quickly switch between my laptop, computer, and phone and I always know which device I'm primary connected to. My only challenge so far is remembering to shut them off, but even when left on overnight, they don't lose much battery. Overall, these are the best headphones I've ever owned and I foresee them remaining my primary headphones for listening to music and videoconference calls.

Intuitive Controls, Sounds Great!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was pleasantly surprised by the Bose Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling headphones. Maybe not for the reasons you think, but let’s talk about that. I work from home and spend a majority of my working hours on calls or in meetings. I wear over the ear headphones most of the day to facilitate those calls. What’s important is that when I’m off the call, I also listen to music to do actual work. This is where Bose comes in with their offerings of this noise cancelling over the ear headphones. These headphones are folding headphones which fit very compactly in it’s rigid carrying case. The soft leather and plushy makeup of the headphone cushions help seal around your ears while also being breathable to the skin for longer wear sessions. The clamp pressure on my head I find is reasonable and keeps them from moving around with normal use. The same material and plush is also on the head rest and go mostly unnoticed, although I currently have a lot of hair helping it out, still very comfortable. I’m surprised at how much I actually missed having buttons that are easily identifiable and placed intuitively so you can quickly find and do the thing you want to do. On the right earcup is where you’ll find most of the action. Volume up, volume down, and a center button that does the play, pause, back, skip functions with single, double, and triple presses. You can push and hold to get your phones voice assistant as well. There’s a power switch on the outside of the cup which also acts as a pairing switch. On the left is your noise canceling toggle and a long press will give you battery life via a voice feedback. All of these are very easy to find as your finger naturally falls into the ridge that runs from front to back where the headband connects to the ear cuffs. It’s also comforting not to be overwhelmed with similar feel buttons that you have to memorize or through trial and error, hit the ones a few times before you find the right one. The sound is fantastic. I like to preface that I’m not an audiophile but do enjoy music while I’m working, exercising, or doing house work. I prefer headphones that favor a heavier bass sound while still coming in crisp at higher volumes. I was not disappointed in the volume or quality of sound. At higher volumes the sound stage comes across loud and clear, you get the deep rumble of the bass while other instrumentals are balanced behind it. It helps me to find my sound preference by having an EQ on the Bose Music app. While you’re not spoiled for choice, there are a few presets you can select to increase or decrease Bass and Treble. The only downside is you’re only given 3 sliders to adjust the sound. This is probably good for most but I’d at least like to have the option to do more fine tuning. Noise Canceling works well. I’ve compared them to a few other noise canceling devices and it seems to be on-par with those. Over the ear headphones, because of things like glasses, hair, head shape and size, can be very subjective because those things affect the amount of ambient sound that make it to the ear. The soft plushy ear cushions help but they’re not perfect and that’s ok. The headphones work great to drown out the cat’s water fountain, the hum of the refrigerator, and other noises your home makes without you knowing it to provide nearly perfect silence. You do get some of the pressure that is felt from noise canceling, I did notice that it seemed a bit more prominent in that department but not uncomfortable. What it does well is the aware setting which allows sound around you to feel more natural and not muffled as if you’re wearing headphones. The ear cuffs each have two grill cutouts which I would assume house the microphones that make all of this possible and blend in nicely with the headphone design. The Bose Music app aside from an EQ also allows control of all kinds of other features. You can use the app to change from quiet to aware modes. Also, because these support multi-point connection, you can toggle between your paired devices manually (they do this automatically, depending on which device is playing music). You can also toggle the shortcut button to use functions of Spotify instead of switching noise canceling modes. Then there’s other settings which allow you to control auto-power off timer, firmware update, toggling voice prompts, how much of your self you can hear in a call, as well as other options and support. As for build quality, there’s a lot of plastic on these which is necessary to provide lightweight comfort, but there’s metal where it counts. The headband appears to be reinforced with metal and the main hinges for folding the headphones are metal as well. The plastic doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy and I would imagine it would live up to some abuse. My final thoughts: The included case is small enough to easily throw into a carry on bag or backpack. It has an inside pocket for storing cables and the inner lining is soft. The included headphone cable matches the color of the headphones which is a nice touch. I did find that I couldn’t charge and play music at the same time which seems like an easy enough thing to do but a lot of headphones, for what I can only assume is technical reasons, don’t do this. These headphones look great, sound great, offer good noise canceling, intuitive controls. Easy to recommend.

New favorite go-to headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found my new favorite work/everyday headphones! As someone who WFH and lives with others, I usually have headphones on 80% of the workday. This means lightweight, comfortable, and noise-canceling headphones with a good mic are a huge must. My previous headphones did the job well, the only thing that bothered me the most was how heavy they were. The QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones did the trick and quickly became my favorite. Pros: - Super comfortable, plush, and lightweight, makes me forget that they're on even after hours of use - Multi-device use and tells me which device(s) it's connected to - Noise-canceling (especially helpful if you live in the city), sometimes I forget that there's other noise around me - Sound is clear and well-balanced - Battery life - USB-C for fast charging - Bose Music App for more control - Shortcut feature - switch between hearing the battery level or shuffling Spotify - Modes: quiet, aware, focus, commute Cons: - It doesn't automatically turn off when not in use (drains battery, you'll have to remember to turn it off) - No button to skip music or go back Nit-picky things: - Wished the case matched the white headphones After a week of using it for several hours a day, I can confidently say that Bose did a pretty good job with the new QuietComfort headphones and would highly recommend it.
