Others around you shouldn't be able to hear your audio content clearly unless you use the headphones at louder volumes, or unless they get up close to you. One thing to make sure of is that your headphones are sitting on your ears correctly, providing a firm but comfortable seal around them. I am glad to hear that you love the sound of your QuietComfort headphones, but sorry you are not fully happy during phonecalls. In busy environment, the mic can sometimes pick up outside noises. Move to a different area to avoid interference.
