Worked for 7 months and stopped working

The noise cancelling is okay but not great--for example the sound the wind makes along the seashore as it whistles through the headphones is not canceled. The headphones stopped working without explanation after 7 months--the battery would not charge and the headphones would not turn on. Bose online customer support was completely worthless in trying to diagnose the problem (e.g., it wanted a serial number but then directed me to the right ear cup to find a serial number and there was no serial number to be found) and the customer service support line tried to prevent you from talking to a customer representative. Finally, the headphones were finicky about connecting to my IPhone 14. Sometimes they forced me to restart my cell phone because the IPhone would say that the Bose headphones were connected but no sound would come out of the headphones and when I disconnected the headphones no sound would come out of the IPhone anymore either.

If your headphones won't charge or turn on, then one thing to double-check is that you're on the latest firmware. On a computer, visit btu.bose.com and follow the instructions there, to ensure your product has the latest features and enhancements. As for wind noises, you can create a custom mode in the Bose app with wind blocking enabled, so don't forget to try this as well. Love that you have an app to control different modes and sounds. However, they are NOT noise cancelling at all. Even on “quiet mode” with music on, I can hear everything around me. I was really hoping for a true noise cancelling headphone, this is not in.

It is great that you find the comfort and style of the headphones along with the ease of the app control. Please make sure that the ear cushions have a good seal around your ears, and that there are no gaps for outside noise to get through.
