You can't ask for much more, except maybe comfort - and they're comfortable, too! This is our second pair, as I bought an earlier version years ago. My wife has now discovered the joy and sanctuary of Bose noise-cancellation while traveling, and can't imagine leaving the house without them. My older pair is still going strong, too. Just had to replace the ear pads.

LOVE. Great noise cancelling. Great controls on the headphones. Easy connectivity to my iPhone. Stays on head while working out. Sound quality sounds like beats. Great base sounding.

These Bose headphones are incredible. The noise cancellation is the best I’ve ever used, and they are comfortable enough to wear all day long. Worth every penny!

If your priority is to wear headphones for longer (in office environments, flights) and you are not audiophile you will enjoy these. The physical buttons and missing touch options is good for winters and windy conditions so that you don't accidentally change something. Sony XM series has better codec support and thus better audio quality but these are just much more comfortable. I do wish Bose was not cheap to exclude flight adapter that it used to bundle in last decade but most newer planes work with 3.5 so maybe this is not that bad. Sony does app better. Bose just does not have customization (to change the audio signature). These are closer to 4.5/5

They are very comfortable, they fit around my ears. I use them to help me sleep. The sound is also great.

I’m in absolute love with these… the noise canceling is s amazing… but if you need to hear something you don’t want these, my son was yelling at me from only like 12 foot away trying to get my attention and i was CLUELESS…. Which is good when you’re trying to drown out the outlaying sounds!!! Quality of music is really amazing!

I purchased these as a Christmas present for my fiance. Suffice it to say, they loved it, especially complementing sound quality and the overall comfort of the headphones. And these headphones were put through their first field test not soon thereafter: my fiance used them during our flight from California to DC (and back) for the holidays. Suffice it to say, he had a more pleasant flight experience than me because he couldn't hear anything - even though there was a rambunctious toddler sitting behind us and a crying infant on the way home. The headphones also came in a very handsome and sturdy case.

These re the 2nd pair of headphones I’ve bought previous ones lasted 7 years. I live the comfort in the over the ear and that I can hear just the music and no background noise.
