Still One of the Best on the Market

This is Bose's newest iteration of their active noise cancelling headphones. Moving away from the naming scheme of QCnn, these are now just called QuietComfort, so it can be a little confusing when searching for these headphones. Overall, initial impressions are great. If coming into this without any prior knowledge of previous models, these win in several categories ranging from its active noise cancellation to the overall comfort and sound of the unit. As with their previous models, these are one of the most comfortable headphones I have ever worn. The padding is soft, but not too soft that it will feel loose when wearing them. The headphones are light enough that you will not feel any fatigue from long hours of wearing them. Functionality of this headphone is simple, yet not lacking. While it does not have touch gestures like the ones from Sony, you have the buttons to control volume and play/pause. Double click to go to next, and triple to go to previous. Answer and decline phone calls with the same button using single tap or long hold. The active button allows you to disable the noise cancelling and hear outside noise in addition to activate voice assistant. This can be a little overwhelming and you will definitely forget some of the controls if you don't use these features often, but they do allow for a phone free experience. If you are coming in from previous models, then this will feel right at home. In terms of active noise cancellation, it is one of the best in class. This will essentially block all noise regarding conversation/background noise. What is most impressive is how it can make the power tools I have running at 90+ decibels sound whisper quiet. All of this was observed without music, once you add in even a little music you become completely separated from the outside world. In terms of sound, it is acceptable. Out of the box, it is a little bass heavy but not overwhelming. The trebles still come through as needed, but not as clear if listening to stuff like classical piano music. This can be compensated through their equalizer app, so not all is lost. Bluetooth connection is also seamless. You can simultaneously connect to multiple devices, and the headphones will also switch between which ever device is playing music. To conclude, these are still one of the best active noise cancelling headphones on the market. While not a significant upgrade from its previous models, it is still a great recommendation if coming in fresh. You will be hard pressed to find disappointment from these headphones.

Bose has delivered an exceptional product once again with the QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear headphones. They come with a travel case, a USB C cable, and an audio cable with a built-in microphone. The setup process is incredibly straightforward, and the headphones work seamlessly straight out of the box. They pair easily with multiple devices and offer a multi-device connection for simultaneous use, making them very convenient. The headphones can be used without the app, though the accompanying Bose mobile application enhances the overall user experience and allows firmware updates. The headphones fit extremely well, seal nicely, and are still lightweight enough to allow listening sessions that last hours. They also have well-placed control buttons, although it may take some time to get used to the multi-function button on the right earcup since it controls various commands, but it quickly becomes intuitive. Using the Bose mobile application, you can customize the left button to open a selected app or perform a task. The build quality is superb, with high-quality plastic that feels solid and robust. Connection wise, you’ll find a USB-C plug for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack that allows for a hard-wired connection. The sound quality is crystal clear across all paired devices. Music wise, endless genres of tracks were played, and the headphones maintain Bose’s signature well-balanced, neutral tone. The call quality is truly impressive, with the mic and audio noise cancelling features working efficiently to reduce background noise and ensure your voice is heard clearly, even in noisy environments. The noise cancellation feature offers several sensitivity settings, with two primary modes - Quiet and Aware. Bose continues to lead the pack with their impressive active noise cancelling technology. The EQ settings are basic, but they are enough to offer a personalized audio experience. In summary, the Bose QuietComfort headphones are an excellent choice for those seeking a premium audio experience, requiring noise cancelling and multi-device connectivity. They effectively minimize moderate background noise, maintain a high-quality audio performance, and uphold voice clarity in noisy environments. Their premium price tag is justified by the superior quality they deliver. The Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones are a fantastic investment for anyone needing superior sound quality on the move.

    Popping noises after pausing

Extremely disappointed after 8 years of incredible listening on the QC35ii. There’s a popping/distortion noise whenever you pause music, something with the chip is turning on and then turning off. Makes browsing Twitter or similar platforms where audio plays and pauses very jarring. Noticed it immediately and never had this problem with another pair of headphones.

I ordered online and picked up. Later in the evening I opened the package and tried to use. Turns out the unit was used. Upon inspecting the original box package it was clear the package had been opened, item placed in it, and then resealed. I was leaving on a 1 month trip out the country the next morning and could not go into the store. Upon returning BestBuy refused to replace the unit because it was beyond 30 days even though I had called the online number to report the problem. I’m fairly certain BeatBuy sold me a stolen headset that someone cleverly “washed” through a BestBuy buy/return.

    Amazing Noise Cancelling Headphones

Bose, in my opinion, is one of the most trusted brands in the world. Whenever you buy a Bose product you know you’re getting a quality piece of equipment. Everything I’ve owned for the past 20+ years from them has held up well and always performed as it should. Whenever I travel, I always use their noise cancelling headphones because it is the best at drowning out Airplane cabin noise while still delivering great quality sound. These new QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling will be the 3rd set I’ve owned from Bose and they performed exactly as I expected them to. Initial unboxing of the headphones was simple with minimalistic packaging. I always appreciate the nice leather cases they include with their headsets. The headphones come with a very short charging cable that could stand to be a bit longer. Initial charging had the headphones dangling from the wall. Once charged, the initial setup with the Bose Music app took less than 30 seconds. The app itself can control many functions of the headset including a Quiet (Noise cancelling) or Aware mode, which allows you to hear others around you. You also can create your own modes and the level of noise cancelling for that created mode. There’s also an EQ mode that allows the bass, mid and treble to be adjusted. The app will allow you to adjust volume and shows the battery life of the headphones. The Source allows you to change your Bluetooth connections with the headset. And the Shortcut button can add functionality to the left side button for battery level or spotify shortcuts. Hopefully they will add more options for that in the future. The app also allows you to software update as well as adjust Auto Power Off options. Overall, I’m very impressed with the robust functionality of the app. The bread and butter of these headphones is the Noise Cancelling ability and quality of the sound. I don’t believe there is a better set of travel headphones on the market. These headphones deliver crisp beautiful sound whether it’s action movies or any type of music you throw at it. The noise cancellation works to perfection without being too overpowering. Not to mention they’re comfortable, you can wear these headphones for hours and not feel like your ears hurt, which is very rare for me. The battery life so far in testing has been great and has lasted long enough for any task I’ve thrown at it. I’ve enjoyed having the exterior buttons to change songs and switching between Active and Quiet mode on the fly. In conclusion I can’t recommend these headphones enough. The QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones are the best headphones on the market, period. They produce quality sound, amazing noise cancelling technology with a solid rechargeable battery life, app connectivity and they’re very comfortable! What more could you ask for in a headset?! Buy them, you won’t be disappointed.

Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones The set up is very easy, just scan the code in the box and put the headset on to connect through Bluetooth. I had 70% when I received my Bose headphones. The Bose Quiet Comfort headphones are very comfortable for extended period of time to listening to music. The quality of the Bose headphones is excellent! The headphone is adjustable to fit comfortably on the head and ears, with or without wearing glasses. I own quite a few sets of brand earbuds and headphones. WOW! I must say the Bose Quiet Comfort are the best sounding headsets I've ever owned. You can easily adjust the SoundTouch to your likings, I like to use the bass booster setting in the Bose app because I like more bass. The music is both crisp and clear. I think Bose has established themselves as the best in sound quality with these. The Bose headset picks up more music notes and sounds seem to be missed by the Bose competitors. The noise around you disappears but you can still hear some noise in your surroundings unless you blast the music in the headphones. You definitely will not be disappointed with the Bose Quiet Comfort headphones. Battery life is excellent; however, they do take a bit to fully charge if you let the battery drain all the way. I would recommend charging them when the battery life drops 50% or under if you plan on being away from a plug for a while. The right ear cup has volume controls, forward or backward mode for music selection and can answer phone calls, and the charging port. Also, on the right ear cup you can power off or on. The left ear cup has an AUX port and a button to toggle between "quiet and aware" modes. There are different modes to help with the wind cancellation and you can choose no more than 2 at one given time. The other two modes are a permanent fixture, so you can have up to four total modes. I could not use the Bose app on my, Ipod even though I could connect the music on my Ipod to the headphones., it can only be used on my IPHONE or IPAD The case is also nice and makes it easier to transport. They have become my dedicated headphones for listening to my music to walk, travel or just listen to music at home without disturbing others around me. One flaw: the headphones seem to slightly pause the music from time to time. But the Bose earbuds are better in noise cancellation. Would I recommend these headphones? Definitely!

I feel like really nice headphones are a total luxury item for me. I have a simple pair that has been "getting the job done" and allowing me to watch a show in bed, without waking my husband, or let me hear a new song or two and they have been fine. I've been toying with getting myself a new pair of good headphones (my last ones were Bose and lasted from 2016 until about a year ago when my son starting "sharing" them with me) and I am SO GLAD that I did and that I chose the beautiful pair! I charged them up and turned them on this weekend and walked all over my house cleaning and never had any issues with them slipping, in fact they are so comfortable that I really did forget they were on my head a few times! I used the vacuum and while I could see that the noise from it, really ticked everyone else in the living room off, I was having a grand ole time and was completely unbothered! I cleaned up spilled litter in the laundry room and not even that clanking interrupted my "jams". Speaking of my "jams", the moment that I put them on and chose a song to try them out, I was blown away by how beautiful the standard mix was! I haven't adjusted anything and I have been enjoying the most beautiful bass, that you can feel and hear but it does not overwhelm the treble and/or singing at all... just a total chef's kiss, right out of the packaging!

I was pretty happy to see that the next generation of Bose's QuietComfort line seems to be just as good as ever. The fit is quite nice - loose enough to be comfortable, but tight enough to actually stay on my head when I'm looking about. I do like the way the speakers are tilted so that they don't squish your ears, and they're pretty comfortable to wear with glasses. The control scheme is familiar - the left side button that is remappable, the right volume buttons and play/pause button and power switch are all in the same places and do the same things as older models. The sound quality is nice as ever, allowing you to hear detail in the music without drowning in bass or having the "oops, all mids!" situation. The build quality is solid - I don't feel like these are going to crack apart when I take them off, and they're pretty inconspicuous and not flashy or garish (though, I'll admit I always notice it when I see someone else with a pair of the QC35s or the QC45s slung around their neck). And, as always, Bose stuck a really nice carrying case in the packaging, complete with a USB cable and an AUX cord. They're just very nice headphones all around, though maybe the top padding could be a bit softer. That being said, the Bose Music app is irritating me at the moment. These headphones feature multi-point connection - you can memorize six connections, and use the app to tell the headset what devices you want it connected to. This is a lifesaver for me, because it's really nice to just switch a connection in the app when I want to move from my school laptop to my gaming laptop, for instance. It will also do this automatically, but it just kind of latches on to whatever it sees first, which can be a problem if you have more than three things to connect them to. Anyway, the problem is, I randomly can't use this very useful feature because the app doesn't seem to be very good at remembering my devices. Nor can I sometimes adjust things like the self-voice during calls feature (which is very nice because it feels more natural, but depending on the environment I may need to turn it up or down). Since it's *all* of my headphones having this issue, very suddenly, across both iOS and Android, I'm pretty sure it's just some issue with the app and I do believe in Bose to fix it. However, you should keep in mind that you may have to put the headset into pairing mode with the app open to get the thing to recognize it. Other than the app being weird, there is one issue I did have - at one point, while paired to both an iPhone 11 and a Google Pixel 6a, I had to move my music over to the iPhone because the audio stream from the Pixel kept cutting out and becoming crackly, as though I were listening to music over a badly damaged AUX cable. This happened once and then never happened again, so I'm not really sure what went on there. It might have been a fluke, might have been some weird issue with my phones, or it could be the headset - I'm genuinely not sure. Overall, I think the Bose QuietComfort Wireless Noise Cancelling Over-the-Ear Headphones are a pretty worthy successor to the QuietComfort 45. They're definitely going to be my top recommendation next time someone asks me about what headphones they should buy. If the app didn't have the issues I mentioned, I'd honestly consider them to be flawless.

Hello Tay, I am sorry to hear the QuietComfort Headphones have not quite met your expectations,
If you are having a hard time getting these powered up.

If the headphones are unresponsive, you can reset them. Resetting the headphones resets the product controls and reboots the headphones. It doesn’t clear any device settings.
Connect the small end of the USB cable into the USB-C port on the left earcup.

Slide the Power/Bluetooth switch to the right. At the same time, connect the other end into a USB-A power source such as a computer or wall charger. When the reset is complete, the status light glows according to the current charge level.
