Excellent sound and ease of use. Durable and light!

I love the Bose QuietControl 30 wireless bluetooth headset. But, I do feel I am sacrificing the quality of the noise cancellation for the wireless functionality. I had the wired QC20 just prior. The sound quality was superior. But, I didn't like being tethered. The extra dangling power supply with the QC20 was a small inconvenience. I debated on switching back to the QC20. But, I decided I would rather put up with the lesser quality sound for the freedom of connecting to any bluetooth enabled device. The QC30 sound is intermittently not great. Some phone calls sound great to the person on the other end while other phone calls sound terrible. A problem I didn't have with the QC20.

Sound quality of these headphones are on par with typical Bose sound, excellent, in my opinion. I own six different pairs of Bose headphones and I love every one of them. The reason I returned these was twofold. First the Bluetooth connection was absolutely terrible on the pair I had and the music kept cutting out which was unacceptable to me. Second, but not the dealbreaker, was the ring around the neck. It needs to be adjustable for those of us that have thicker necks. Maybe the second generation will be adjustable. I would recommend these to a friend because the sound quality is excellent and I may have just gotten a bad pair. If the Bluetooth connectivity is a continuing problem they can always be returned.

I have the QC35 cans, but was looking for something less encumbering for when it's hot out. The QC30's were perfect for this. The sound is also very good, with bass comparable to in-ears with legit bass boosting. I'd recommend these to anyone looking to enjoy their music or podcasts while shutting the outside world out.

Got these for air travel and they are great. Bose is the King of noise cancelling! I have used QC35 full sized headphones for several years. But size and weight was always an issue. These are nearly as good but so light and comfy! They can ride my collar all day and I forget they are there.

Ok so this was an upgrade for me from the LG 910. The sound quality is much better, and the noise canceling is amazing. I have had two pair of the 910 both times the speaker wire has broken or has been loosened enough for the speaker to stop working. The wire on these doesn’t retracted like the 910’s which I wasn’t sure about when I got them but it doesn’t bother me at all now. The wire going to the speaker is also larger which I think will help with speaker sound quality and longevity of the speaker too. My only complaint is that it seem to want to rotate on your neck. This seems to happen more when you have on a jacket or don’t have either of earpiece in your ear.

These headphones gives you a pretty sweet sound quality, as soon as you put them on and turn them on you know that you are wearing something made by Bose. I have been using Bose for the last 10 years and thats why I went to buy it. Yes they are expensive but if you have the money, give yourself that luxury. Noise cancelling its good but the over the ear will give you better noise cancelling results. My only complaint is that the neck piece moves quite often. Not to a point that they will fall but they do move out of place. It does the job for me when I'm at the office to just listen and focus on my music. I have not used them for working out yet, so I cant say more.

1. Awkward and too tight, rigid neckband. 2. Wires to actual earbuds far too short. 3. Buds themselves are only moderately comfortable. 4. Noise cancellation is ok. Just ok. Maybe a bit better than ok. Definitely not great. Bottom line: earbuds that have a flawed form-factor, aren’t the most comfortable and provide good but not great noise cancellation. At $150? Maybe. At $299. Definitely not. Returned. Biggest flaw? These earbuds are grossly overpriced for what they deliver.

Lol... Yeah, these are by far the best and most comfortable ear buds I've had the opportunity to own. And, with the associated app, these things are perfect for noisy environments. Not to mention, the mic is great...I've not had any complaints from people I speak with via the headset.

Outstanding sound quality and comfort. I specifically wanted these instead of individual ear buds as I travel frequently and worry about losing buds. At first these seemed fragile, but I have used them hard with no problems whatsoever.

I recently got these looking for a smaller option to the wireless quietcomfort 35 for air travel. Quality of sound wise there is no comment it’s a Bose right? But there are two things that didn’t make my experience better. The first one is that the unit is not foldable therefore the case is still somewhat bulky. The other one is that they don’t come with the wired option to connect it to the airplane audio system (the wireless quietcomfort 35 do), in a nutshell, although traveling a little bit lighter, to watch a movie you need to use the earphones provided in the plane or get a Bluetooth adapter (one more device to carry).

Bought these after doing much reading on Consumer Reports. I have not been disappointed. They are comfortable to wear, easy to use and the sound quality and noise reduction are awesome. Wish I would have taken these on my last plane flight. I will buy another pair for my wife.

I have been very impressed with the level of noise cancelling considering the size of the headphones. They are comfortable to wear. I primarily utilize them while flying, watching movies. I am able to easily hear the words in the movies and it blocks out the background noise of the flight. I also enjoy them with music.
