I didn't think the noise cancellation was working the first time I tried it... until I was in my quiet office and took the buds off. The AC noise surprised me because it seemed so loud! But that's because I never noticed it until I for the noise cancellation. I've tried it outside during construction and plane rides - it is great. Sound quality is also top notch (compared to beats and air pods). Also, Bose warranty is awesome.

Sound is good but doesn’t fit your ear well the impact of that is loss of sound quality.

I bought this item to cut down on road noise for a long trip. The noise was reduced somewhat but not as much as I was expecting. Maybe I need to use a different size earpiece. The sound is good. The on/off switch is not as convenient as it could. I don't use it with a phone so don't experience switching problems as reviewed by others.

I love everything about these headphones. They are comfortable, amazing sound, and a very slick app to control them from the iPhone. Bose forever!

I like the sound and the variable noise cancelling feature. I wish I had been afforded the opportunity to try them for fit prior to purchase. The smallest included ear buds are too big for a proper fit. Since I am an adult with normal anatomy, and have not had an issue with similar products, I cannot give 5 stars.

As a long-time user of Bose I have to say, these are great but not perfect. For perfection go with the QC35. The QC30 is a fantastic noise-cancelling headphone as long as you understand that you won't get 100% cancelling from in-ear buds. They allow just the right amount of noise, definitely not enough to disturb your music and the fact that you can even allow more with the cancelling level is a very neat feature. Overall, I would highly recommend but if you're looking for complete and total noise-cancelling go with the Quiet Comfort.

I have the over the ear Bose and love them, but for travel decided to purchase these. Very comfortable, excellent sound and noise blocking.
