    This is the first Bose product that I have ever returned, and I own several. I bought it because I wanted a pair of bluetooth noise-cancelling in-ear headphones with a good mic. I had a pair of Beats, but they weren't noise cancelling and the mic was marginal. I also have a pair of wired Bose noise-cancelling in-ear headphones and they are great. The noise cancelling on this pair was pretty good, but the mic on these was bad. I returned them and bought a pair of QC35s instead.

    I love the headphones and think they sound great. However, the rubber piece that goes into the ear broke and the black cover began to peel off.

    The Bose QC30 is the best Bose headset I have ever had. Having been a loyal Bose QC user for years now - I can honestly say the QC30 is an amazing piece of tech - I just took a 3-hour flight with my QC30 and the background noise was nearly nill, and the music quality was amazing. Light, portable, amazing sound quality - highly recommend.

    When I listen to my music, the bose quiet control does very well, but when talking the other person hears a whole lot of noise. Not good blocking out background noise when conversing.
