Customers are pleased with the noise cancellation, comfort, battery life, and wireless capabilities of the QuietControl 30 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones. They appreciate the comfortable fit and lightweight design, and many find the sound quality to be good. However, some customers feel that the price is too high and the design can be inconvenient due to rotation around the neck.

The reviews are pretty accurate. Doesn't completely eliminate outside noise. And tends to rotate around the neck unnecessarily. But that is the only two drawbacks. I would still purchase because it is perfect for workouts and office cube listening.

Noise cancelling function is pretty good. However I bought these to replace my old soundsport Bose Bluetooth headphones (which were great). Compared to those, these were more expensive and less functional. Would not recommend buying.

This is my second set of QC30s. I returned the 1st set after a week when one of the "cords" detached from the neckband seal. My current set already had one of the ear tips rip, breaking the seal which enables the ANC to work so well. Buy these for outstanding cordless ANC without the need for earmuffs, but treat them like a newborn and keep your receipt for Bose warranty services ... notice the plural.

The microphone does not filter outside noise when on a call. I bought it primarily for calls and it sucks for that purpose.

Bose, as always, has great quality headphones. What's unfortunate about these is the microphone in the headset can be finicky.

Won't cut out like some true wireless headphones do, and they have always improved on software updates. I connect them to the computer using Bose Updater, bluetooth firmware update never seems to work.

If you've never used BOSE headphones before, you're in for a treat. For in-ear headphones, BOSE makes some very comfortable things that sound great. After exclusively using Apple Ear Pods for a long time because in-ear headphones hurt my ears, this set (as well as the Sound Sport) feel great in my eat and sound amazing too. I can actually hear bass in my music (which I never really heard much of with the Ear Pods) This is the first active noise cancellation headset I've tried so I can't compare it to anything else. I used it at my gym during a relatively busy time and it did a really good job of killing all of the background noise. It's very neat to put the headphones in my ear and hear things like you'd normally expect, and then turning on the power for them and magically hearing silence. It felt weird to sweat while wearing the neck band but it didn't appear to affect the band at all. Easy to clean up. The neck band is probably my least favorite part of these headphones as I also have a pair of Sound Sport headphones that just have a wire between them and enjoy this a lot more even if it puts a hit on the battery life. Battery life is advertised at 10 hours and after each hour long workout, the battery reading went down about 10% so that's probably a pretty good estimate. I'd round down to 9 hours to be safe. If you're looking for a flagship headphones and NEED the noise cancellation. These are a really good pair. If you don't need the noise cancellation, you can probably get away with the Sound Sport instead.

They work great, are lightweight and very comfortable. There is a little bit of cutting out that you find with all Bluetooth headphones, but it does not happen very often at all. The noise canceling is wonderful.

I love these headphones. I have had almost every model of the LG tones and none of them compare to these BOSE. The only complaint I have is the balance. They have a tendency to twist around my neck when I move around a lot.

Bose newest line offers active noise cancelling with superb sound quality in the form of a wireless around the neck ear bud. Lets dive right into some of the features, the good, the bad, and if this is the right fit for you. The Bose quietcontrol 30 offers a 10 hour battery life on a full charge and comes packaged with three different earbud styles ranging from small, medium, and large depending on ear size. A nice feature added to the battery life is a audible voice that lets you know what percentage battery life you're at every time you turn the earbuds on. The headset comes package in a pretty fancy looking box which comes with a protective carrying case for your headphones. Setting up the wireless earbuds is as easy as turning on the bluetooth feature on you cellphone or other such device and simply powering on the headphones. Most cellphones and mp3 players will simply ask if the bose quietcontrol is the device you wish to pair. After confirming you are good to go. Bose does not claim the product to be water resistant or sweat resistant however i have actively taken this to the gym and so far have not found sweat to be an issue, simply put just don't go swimming or take a shower with these on and you should be ok. The headset comes with two volume controls, one is for you music and the other is to control how much outside noise you wish to let in or block. Lets talk a bit about the sound control. Well im not exactly sure on the exact amount of db the QC30 allows, its safe to say that most competitors are about 20-35db and this headset seems to be right around that area. If you are curious to know how much it cancels out simply put your finger tips in your ears and you'll get a rough idea as to how much noise you'll actually receive. The earbuds will not eliminate outside noise completely, you will still be able to hear people talking but everything will sound muffled and distant. Don't let this turn you off though, while it may not eliminate 100% of outside noise pollution it does bring it down enough for the quality of your music to sound superb. With outside noise not easily able to penetrate your headphones, you are now able to hear your music the way it was meant to be heard. i was able to hear all my highs and lows so perfectly it was almost like i was listening to my songs for the first time again. Another thing i noticed is with the noise cancellation turned all the way up and my music playing, i was completely oblivious to the environment around me, meaning i could not hearing any other noise other then my music playing. This is the part where the noise cancellation really shines. Another nice feature the QC30 has is a side mic and speaker which allows your voice to be heard through the headphones. This is a nice feature so in the event you need to talk to someone you don't have to take your headphones off and you won't find yourself yelling loud enough for the whole room to hear. Now the neckband, while i have never been a big fan of wireless neck bands simply because they look bulky and usually aren't too comfortable to wear Bose has done this one right. The neckband on this set up is necessary because it houses the processors needed for noise cancellation and quality sound control. But Bose does what it always seems to accomplish and take something ordinary and make it look sleek and stylish. The neckband is black and very low profile so most the time others wont even see it because it will be hidden under your shirts collar line if you are wearing a regular tee. The neckband was so comfortable that half the time i didn't even noticed i had it on and the only reason i didn't go to bed with it on was because i saw my earbuds hanging around my neck. Bose has never been known to be cheap price wise so lets discuss if this is the right fit for you. If you spend alot of time on public transportation (i.e. subway, busses or airplanes) and you need to feel alone in a place that's bustling with noise, then this is right for you. If you spend alot of time at the gym like i do you, then this is right for you. You know that it can be sometimes very difficult to get into your music while others around you are spending most of there time talking and see whos doing what this weekend. I was really impressed by how well i was able to focus better on my workouts and how much it actually cancelled out the whole gym. If you are a person who likes to hear the whole song in its entirety including clear lyrics, with clear lows, mids, and highs then this is right for you. I was so impressed as to how well these little earbuds could put out sound. The QC30 sounded almost as good as some of my higher end full size over the hear wired headphones. I mean the sound quality is so impressive that i found myself using these more often then some of my bigger style brand name headphones. The sound quality on these wireless earbuds is going to be very hard to match against other wireless earbuds. The Pros: -Sleek low profile neckband design -Excellent sound quality -Built in mic for voice recognition and cellphone communication -Good Bluetooth connectivity with no drops. -Comfort earbuds which fit easily inside the ear with little to no discomfort -Noise cancellation, offering better sense of sound and individuality The Cons: -Battery life, while decent its prior design the QC20 offered 16 hours of battery life.

They are everything you expect from Bose. Though every once in a while they cut out if I tilt my head to far to either side or slide a heavy bag over my shoulder. Other than that they are perfect and I use them every day :-)
