They appreciate the comfortable fit and lightweight design, and many find the sound quality to be good. However, some customers feel that the price is too high and the design can be inconvenient due to rotation around the neck.

Great sound, good fit, comfortable. Variable noise cancellation good for any situation (especially if you just want to shut out a noisy world). Push button controls for volume, play/pause, etc. as well as noise cancellation. Apps for ios and android. Nice packaging and carrying case (if you ever want to take them off). Bluetooth of course and nfc.

I originally had the Beats. But I wanted something that I could use with one ear or two and still stay where they were supposed to. The Bise were perfect !

I have the wired sound sport and it sounds great. I tried the wireless sound sport and it sounds almost as good, but sticks out to far from ears, so I thought the quiet contro would be the best of both worlds just a lot more expensive. I was wrong, the neck thing was ok,the ear buds was perfect and doesn't stick out from your ears, the noise canceling was really good, but the sound didn't even come close to the other 2 sound sports and not loud enough. I was really disappointed and returned it. I didn't mind paying 300.00 dollars but it had to at lease be. Good as the sound sports when paying 3 times as much.

This headset have a great sound but it’s really irritating how they slight down to one side of your shoulders pretty much like if there are falling down I believe it has to do with the weight of that headset

The second my package arrived I immediately paired them to my iPhone 6s Plus and started testing them out. The Stay Hear+ ear tips are surprisingly comfortable and feel secure. The neck band, something I really expected to bug me after a few minutes was also surprisingly comfortable. You almost forget that you're wearing a neck band thanks to its lightweight. The sound is what I expect from Bose (I have an older pair of wired earbuds and an older non-noise canceling banded headphone) with the added benefit of some noise canceling. You can adjust just how much noise canceling occurs either by using the switch on the headphones directly or by controlling it by using the Bose Connect App. At the highest setting it doesn't completely block out all sound but it does muffle it to the point that you can't make out what is being said...and virtually can't hear someone speaking to you or discern the background noise around you (I tested with the television turned up relatively loudly). This is very impressive considering these are earbuds. When testing with phone calls I was able to hear the caller clearly and each caller was able to hear me without knowing that I was using headphones to conduct the call. I was able to continue my phone call (and listen to music) while walking a decent distance away from my handset (I left it sitting on the living room table and was able to hear clearly and be heard without interruption 2 rooms away. Sorry I don't know what the measurement of the distance was but I was no able to see the phone and it still worked even with the bedroom door closed). I was impressed by this because it can come in handy when doing tasks like cooking dinner or cleaning up...or working out in my home gym area. My final test will be tonight at a high school football game just to really test the degree of noise canceling it van handle in that type of crowd....especially with phone calls since I often get calls throughout the game from parents that couldn't make it on time but want to know how things are going. I usually avoid answering and just text an update back since it's nearly impossible to hear a caller in that crowd and shouting a response just seems rude. Overall, I would definitely recommend trying these out. The sound quality you expect from Bose is present along with the convenience of a wireless connection and noise-canceling technology. The only thing I can't really comment on so far is the battery life. It was at 70 percent when I received it and after about 4 hours of testing it was still at 62 percent.

Hi there! I'm pleased to hear you love the sound, but encountered issue with the microphone on your QuietControl 30 headphones. This certainly is not normal and we would look at amending this through troubleshooting. Were you able to test the headset with other mobile devices to check if the issue persisted? We're always happy to help, so if you would like to discuss troubleshooting and possible service options, please do get in touch with us directly. I have owned 3 or 4 of the Bose Headphones and the left speaker always seems to fail and start crackling. After reading online reviews this is apparently an issue that has yet to be resolved. Highly disappointing.

The Bose QuietControl 30 neckband-style wireless headphones with adjustable active noise canceling, and using Bluetooth and NFC technologies, have great sound quality with solid base and clean highs. The Active and Adjustable noise canceling proved to be the best I have tried on in-ear headphones and rivals and surpasses most of the over the ear headphones I have used. The quality of construction is very good and has an attached plug to keep moisture and dust out of the USB port used for charging etc.. Great comfort – no irritation from the earbuds that sit loosely in your ear but don’t fall out (Bose's Stay-Hear+ eartips - three sizes included). The design is unobtrusive and elegant with the neck band providing power and also keeping the earbuds from getting lost when not inserted in the ears. The battery life is about 10 hours on average. A nice compact and protective carrying case is included. The free Bose Connect app for iOS and Android devices provides additional functionality including customized settings. The only problem I have had with Bose QuietControl 30 wireless headphones is that now my wife wants a pair.

After less than a year they failed...

The performance of the headset was actually very good in terms of noise cancellation and sound. The microphone picked up a lot of background noise during conversations which made it difficult to understand me. What really makes the headset a fail, however, was the delamination of the outer cover from the unit and ultimately failure of the unit to operate. It now shows a full charge after recharging and is dead within 15 minutes. Very poor for a $300.00+ Bluetooth headset. I expected better from Bose and can't tell you how disappointed I am in the unit. Lets see how the warranty goes...
