For the price I thought these would be better Bluetooth headphones. If I would turn my head and cover the thing that goes around your neck the connection was really bad of lost all together. Also my husband had the same pair and after 3 weeks of use the mic stopped working.

I'm not really a fan of these headphones. The only way I can use them is if there is if I'm in a quite room. They are super sensitive that the slightest background sound will aggravate both - the listener or myself. There are no filters.

Hello, and thank you for your review.
I'm sorry to hear that you were not a fan of these headphones, and would be glad to advise here. The microphone is tuned to pick up typical frequencies of a human voice. Microphone volume is automatically adjusted for softer or louder voices. In environments where a voice is in the background, that voice might be identified as a softer voice and made audible in the phone call. I would advise that you talk louder when possible as this will adjust the frequency range, and make your audio more clear compared to external audio. If you're still unhappy with the quality, please reach out to your local Bose Support for further assistance.

Just felt they were not comfortable enough in my ears. Also having the main control around the neck was more cumbersome than I wanted to to be. However the main complaint is that the earphone wires themselves dangle too much. It would be better if they were retractable.

This is the second set of Bose headphone I have purchased and was very disappointed. The problem is first with Bluetooth connectivity and the Second is battery life which has been the issue with both sets.

Hi there! I'm sorry to learn you've encountered some trouble with your QuietControl 30 headphones. To help with Bluetooth issues, I'd advise to clear the pairing list of the headphones and the device used. With battery life, keep the product firmware up-to-date and also be sure to charge using a different USB cable. If you have any queries for us, feel free to reach out to Bose again! Started off good but poor noise cancelling product so others can't hardly hear you talk. Then I had a major product battery problem, it locked up, connecting n disconnecting until battery dead. True to shut off power but would not control headset anymore!

I was wanting some wireless noise cancellation headphones. When these Bose QuietControl headphones came on the market, I thought it would be perfect. After having them for a month the rubber coating started separating on the neckband. I took them back and exchanged them. The same thing happened to the second pair. The noise cancellation is ok, but you can hear floor noise in the earbuds. This is definitely NOT the kind of quality that I would have expected from a company like Bose.

This item cuts out / breaks up when you turn your head in either direction. I was very disappointed in this item, shocked the item cost $100 more than the next level down (same brand) but did not produce any better sound quality or performance.

Overall, if you like in-ear headphones and are in the market for a high end pair, these are for you. The noise cancelling and being able to adjust it is great. The fit is great too and they stay in place while doing stuff around the house or even jogging. The sound is excellent and battery life is sound. Can't stress enough how great it is to be wireless and have it sound good!

    Great Headset and noise canceling

Overall this headset sounds and reacts great to all kinds of listening and the noise canceling is way better than I thought it would be for an in ear headset. My only issue with this headset has to be that if you're a larger individual or even just someone who may have a larger neck the neck band part of the headset may not fit the best. I found in my use that the neck band is very snug and if you are prone to getting warm or sweating it might be an issue as it seemed a little warm around the neck because of how tight it was. For people who have normal sized necks it probably won't be an issue and in either case the earpieces are some of the most comfortable in ear headphones I have had. So Yes I would recommend this to someone looking for noise cancellation on the go and a good comfortable headset but I give the larger necks beware warning also.

This is my first pair of noise cancelling headphones. I haven't used any other so I can't comment on how these stack against those. However the first time putting them in, I had them already on and paired with my desktop computer (since it was handy) and as I put it one ear sound seemed deadened, but I first thought it was the in ear nature of the headset. But the other went in and it was quiet. I couldn't hear the fans of my desktop, which is on the table and about a foot away from where I sit. To test this I hit the power and turned off the headphones and I could hear the fan noise. Turning it back on and it was gone. It was simply amazing. I proceeded to play some music and play some games. I was able to keep the music and headphones turned down more then I normally do. Now I'm sure the sound doesn't compare completely with a true audiophile set, but these sounded good and I was picking up sounds in the games I normally don't hear via my speakers or cheap headsets I use. The unit with over the neck is light weight and doesn't get uncomfortable even after a few hours of wear I did when testing them. It was great, and I look forward to going to my noisy office with them to help block out the noise even if I don't have music playing. I know it won't block out all the noise, but it should deaden it help my think and work. My only two major complaints are: The USB charging cord provided is awfully short and no wall plug included. For the price and quality it would be nice to get a longer cord and a plug, instead of having to dig around the house for one I can use. Second is the plug covering. I just know it will be ripped off after awhile since it is so thin. I've never had luck when they use the rubber covering and link the plug to that. I will rip it and just be annoyed. Would have been nice for at least a thicker and easier plug to open so I don't worry about ripping every time. They have an app to control this, but since I don't have any Google store devices or IOS in the house I had to borrow one from a friend to test. App seemed ok, nothing special, and only reason I'd really want it is firmware updates. I wish BOSE had a Windows application, even if I have to use the USB cord included to update, instead of assuming everyone has a device with access to that app store. But even then I don't see much missing without it. Overall I am impressed with the ability to reduce noise and sound and the comfort and fit of these headphones is great. Sounds seemed find and it does come with a nice hard shell case to store and transport them. If you are looking for a pair of ear buds with noise cancelling these might be ones. Enjoy them if you decide to get them, I know I'll enjoy mine.

These are defiantly the best in-ear headphones I've ever used. The sounds is nothing short of what you would expect from Bose and the battery life is by far the best I've seen in Bluetooth headphones. The Bose QC30 provide great Bose sounds and amazing noise canceling. The QC30 allow you to adjust the noise canceling to completely drown out all sound or turn the noise canceling off completely. he only thing I found strange about this feature is that instead of just turning the noise canceling off, the QC30 headphones filter outside noise through the headphones, making everything sounds very mechanical. The battery life on these headphones is great. \Bose advertises 10 hours and I would say that is on par with what I have gotten from my use . These are the first Bluetooth headphones I've used that could completely replace my wired headphones. As long as I charge them at night, I know I'll never run into an issue with dead headphones during the day. My only complaint with these headphones is the Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth antenna is located in front of your neck so if you walk 10 feet or so away from your phone with your back turned to the phone you start to loose connection. The Bluetooth connectivity is definitely not as good as other Bose bluetotth headphones. Overall, I would say these Bose live up to the name. They deliver great crisp sound and amazing noise canceling features. The battery life makes them my go to headphones. I would highly recommend these Bose.

Premium Noise Canceling In Ear Headset

The instructions that come with it are extremely minimalistic, but they get the job done. Bluetooth paired to my MacBook Pro just fine. With Noise cancelling all the way up, and music volume somewhat high, people speaking normally in the same room are inaudible. A raised voice near you sounds muffled and far away. Raising and lowering the noise cancelling level definitely makes a difference to what you can hear, but even with noise cancelling all the way down, sounds are muffled slightly more than average headphones. Play, Pause, Skip, and Changing the volume with the buttons on headset worked fine for me while using iTunes. The shoulder rest thing is very light and barely noticeable. Comes with three ear bud sizes. The ear buds are more comfortable than any other ear buds I’ve ever tried, but that being said they are still ear buds, so if you can’t stand normal ear buds, you probably won’t be able to stand these. Overall it’s a sleek, comfortable and effective product.
