This unit stopped working three months after the warranty ran out. Poor sound quality.

The Bose S1 speaker is essentially a portable PA unit with a high capacity battery, with two separate quarter inch input jacks. The unit is designed for performance artists or public speakers that I want to amplify their voice or their instruments. It provides rudimentary mixing between the two inputs along with some reverb effects that can be mixed with a Bluetooth source. Essentially you sing, play an instrument and have a Bluetooth track mixed in the background. The unit is very loud and fairly clear, it offers a performer a lot of flexibility when used in a portable setting. It tilts on its base for different use cases and dynamically changes how the sound emanates from the unit. The battery lasts quite a while, I am essentially using it as a wireless Bluetooth speaker, it can be used for parties, outdoor events (although it is not weatherproof). The unit is ruggedly built and has a carrying handle built-in for portability. Unfortunately as of yet I haven’t had a way to test the other two inputs. But might lend it to a friend that performs at a local coffee house for his opinion.

These speakers are great for any event. It’s easy to pair with your phone or tablet to play music. You can also hook up wireless mics for karaoke! The speaker packs a punch for its size. It’s lightweight and easy to transport. You wont regret getting a pair!

I tried it with an acoustic guitar and a regular mic on a regular-sized conference room-- maybe 450 sq ft-- it fills the room easy and the sound is pretty clear! It is compact-- maybe three chickens heavy and it is portable. I haven't tried maxing it out until when the battery will run out on continuous use but it lasted a 2 hour session easily. My musician buddies are convinced they will use it for busking. I am just amazed at how a small compact machine can replace a multi-connection PA system!

Dear: Bose I am very excited to pick up Bose s1 Pro at Best Buy today. First, I try out with my yamaha keyboard; the bass and sound are supper lound and crystal clear. Bluetooth connect is fast and sound fantastic. Karaoke and guitar not try out yet. The design looks lovely. * What's Inclued Listing: AC power cord, cover, quick start guide and s1 pro system with rechargeable battery. Open the box, the cover not inside the box?

If you merely used this as a Bluetooth speaker, it would still be worth the money. This thing is amazing. The first weekend that I had this I used it for a wedding rehearsal dinner for wedding party speeches and then music for the after dinner social hour and it was impressive. It was more than impressive. It was AWESOME! The more I use this speaker, the happier I am with it. I have primarily used this for social gatherings, parties, and time that I spend in the backyard in the pool and it excels at all of these. And I am especially happy that my neighbors like me, because the range, volume, and fullness of the sound is a thing of beauty. It is a party every time I turn it on. I can't wait for summer parties like the 4th of July! The battery life is great and I really enjoy that the speaker transitions from wall power to battery seamlessly. Now I enjoy music, but I am not talented enough to make my own music. However, this speaker has inspired me so much that I purchased a guitar to learn to play. The integration off all the sound sources is simple and great. The quality of this speaker is fantastic. And the aesthetics are traditional BOSE, simple, yet stylish. If you are looking for a speaker that will engulf you in music and allow you to feel the beats even at a great distance, this is your speaker. If you are looking for a speaker that you can use to broadcast your voice or other talents, this is your speaker. If you are looking for a speaker, this is your speaker. BOSE again delivers in BOSE fashion...with quality!

This is a great system for quality sound on the go. It boost professional features in a compact, highly portable unit. The recharchable battery allows it to be used anywhere. It is not waterproof but the case is rugged for travel use. It is multi-positional with plenty of wired input options and bluetooth. Bose is a brand that can be trusted for quality sound.

Bluetooth Difficult connect to another Bose S1 Pro speaker

Speaker distorts. Not impressed with being a Bose. Does not sound nearly as good as other Bose I've heard.

The Bose S1 is an excellent piece. It is small, portable, and gives the sound that I need for the tracks that I use in some of my performances. It arrived in great condition. My only complaint is that a manual and warranty card were not in the package (I did purchase open box item).

Nice mobile amp. Definitely perfect for a backup system when your expensive gear has performance issues. Bose is clean and sounds great. Fantastic for coffee shop gigs or similarly smaller venues. Bass could be richer, but I find that common on all Bose products. That being said, it’s a versatile PA system that has multiple uses and is incredibly compact and weighs a mere 15lbs! Aspiring musicians and public speakers would definitely benefit from the Bose S1. Also would work great for old churches that would like to liven up their services without investing thousands in a new speaker system.

With that being said, i may not be able to review that aspect of the speaker but based on my usage, i think its a great sounding good power speaker. The speaker can sit up right or tilt up right or can be placed on a stand (35mm pole). it weighs about 15 pounds, so i would say just as a bluetooth speaker it might be heaiver but as a musician, this is considered light. Rather it is considered ultra portable. The Battery on this thing lasts a good 6 hours for wireless bluetooth play. I think i just need to buy a guitar really to test out the reverb functionality. I think this speaker is a winner from Bose!

As expected, the quality of the sound is second to none. It is portable that you could carry wherever you go. Very happy for karaoke lover like my family!

My husband wanted this and is very happy with it. But...... We had to return the original one purchased as new, because it had been used, it ended up being the second one returned that morning, for the same reason, to that location, purchased from the same location we purchased from. The associates were very sorry about it and exchanging it ended up being painless. I was worried because it was a high-ticket item, and not always available in store. Someone must have used them for an event and returned them as unopened, and no one checked. The one we had was pretty scuffed up. No way we were keeping it for the money spent. Very frustrating. All is right with the world now.

I love this speaker the sound is crisp and the bass is awesome every gathering or party i have this speaker is playing cant wait to get a second one though

Easy to hook up and the sound is second to none is simply clear and loud but not loud where it bothers your ears
