I got this Pro Speaker mainly for listening to Google Play Music free radio stations. First time out I put on classical music. Sounded great but a little light on bass IMHO. Found two sound controls knobs in back. Set bass all the way up and treble at quarter loud. Noticed in guide which came in the box, that it can be used with Karoke This makes a good party option. Paired speaker using Bluetooth from a Toshiba Chromebook 1. Sound volume controls on top row of the keyboard adjusted sound on the speaker nicely. Also paired with Pixel2 XL and iPhone 6s. Unit weights about 14 lbs. but has a built in carrying handle on top. A big plus for that. Will have a relative use an acoustic guitar with unit. Mentioned to her she can use an electric piano keyboard too. This speaker is a good home entertainment addition for its intended use and recommend it to anyone with the right devices to get the most out of it.

The bets from Bose. The sound is perfect, it goes up a lot and the bass of the music is the best part.

This is the first PA system I've ever used but it was fantastic to have at a party I was throwing. It was small enough that I could tote it around to new areas easily. It was great to stream music on something that didn't make buzzing sounds when the volume was high. My boyfriend and I were also able to use it for our guitars and keyboard. It has great sound and mobility. I would definitely recommend it to people that plan on using it outdoors or for people that just want to mess around with their music instruments. I'm not sure how it would do professionally as I only used it for fun. Works great!

Review for Bose S1 Pro Portable Speaker This little amp has a lot of features. It has very good clarity regardless of signal type wth no distortion even at maximum volume. Reverb is very tasteful and useable for vocals and guitar. The tone match buttons work very well. It has great ergonomics with an easy-to-carry handle and the shape lets you use it as a monitor, standing flat or tilting back. It has a mount for a PA speaker stand or can just sit on a table. A really minor complaint: the Bluetooth button is not labeled, although it lights up if you know to press it!

The Bose S1 Pro is one of the best speakers on the market. This company has launched many quality PA systems over the years, but the S1 Pro is the most affordable and also offers the sound quality to which Bose has accustomed us.

Sound quality is great! It is the best speaker for a bbq in the back yard for up to 30 people or just to listen to some tunes in the background.
