The problem with speaker its not easy to turn it ON, but the sound is good

There is no one at the delivery address. I called and asked to cancel the purchase so I could reorder with a new address, Best Buy said that they could not cancel the order. So, I asked Best Buy to change the address. They said that they would and did. BUT IT IS STILL GOING TO THE SAME ADDRESS AND NO ONE IS THERE!!!!! I wish I could give them negative stars!

The Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System is pretty cool. It does a lot more than just public address... it also can be used as a stage monitor, an instrument amp cabinet, wireless blue tooth speaker, and even as a USB audio interface to feed to a computer for recording and mixing etc.. Overall the Bose S1 Pro+ Wireless PA System sounds amazing on spoken word. Just hook up your favorite dynamic microphone through the balanced microphone input and set your desired volume level. A fully charged battery is said to last about 11 hours with a charge time of around 4 hours. I've got no reason to doubt them because I've been using my over a week now without needing to recharge it. There is an app that can be used to control some of the more advanced features, and this speaker definitely has some advanced options. For professional audio engineers there are settings for everything, including linking multiple speakers together, using with an external subwoofer, reverb adjustments, the audio interface can also be used as a mixer to blend the microphone with other inputs etc. The PA even has built in smart equalization that changes if it senses it's mounted on a pole, leaned back, or in monitor mode. This speaker sounds heads and shoulders above any horn driven PA system I've ever heard, juast link as many of these together as needed and you're bound to have a great sounding event. This would be great for a portable monitor or amplified cabinet for a street musician as well. It even makes a pretty good blue tooth speaker too, but when playing music with a lot of bass it does get distorted really badly at higher volume levels. It sounds great at lower volume though. I'd like to have a second one of these for stereo sound, and a subwoofer to handle the low bass, and I bet that would be the killer party/karaoke set up!

I've received an open box item, that's missing the battery, an essential part of the equipment, and as a foreigner customer, now i have a huge problem, because Best buy don't assisted me to properly solve this problem. Be careful when buying an open box on best buy!

I personally believe Bose is leading the industry when it comes to consumer audio. The S1 Pro+ PA system proves this point even more so. Most PA systems I have used in the past are big and bulky and although they are loud the sound quality has not been the best. The Bose PA system is one of the best on the market. The size of this PA system is something unlike anything else. It is rather small and easily portable. This means it can be used just about anywhere and it can be easily placed incognito if you are using it for events. One other note on the design is the buttons and settings for the aux inputs. It allows you to connect microphones or instruments via a chord or wirelessly (adapter sold separately). You can tweak the settings on each input separately which is nice however they have little LED screens and one button with a knob used to adjust settings. In my opinion this can be difficult when trying to adjust settings on the fly but it is not a deal breaker. I would have preferred physical knobs for each setting although I am sure this would take up more space. The wireless adapters for both mics and instruments are sold separately but they can be stored in the speaker itself when not in use which is convenient. They also have rechargeable batteries that regenerate while they are stored inside of the speaker slots. Obviously since it is a speaker you might wonder how it sounds. This is much louder than your average Bluetooth speaker. It can easily be used for large audience in to 100+ range. It gets very loud and the sound does not distort even at its highest volumes. This system does have Bluetooth so you can play music from a mobile device. The only downside is that it is required to be plugged in for it to operate. Bose has an app that allows you to adjust settings from your phone. The microphone, instrument and Bluetooth inputs can be played over one another. This is great if you want to use it for karaoke for example. If you are looking for a PA system for events and want something that is compact, easy to set up, and has great sound quality then look no further. This would be a great speaker to take camping because it can easily be plugged in and play great music for the entire family to enjoy.

Doesn't even properly connect to Android devices and I think this should be stated on the product.

Wow! This PA system is compact but covers a lot of area and produces a very clear sound. My only regret is not reading the description well enough to notice that the mic transmitters are not included. But the system itself is well worth it.

Great portable speaker, incomparable sound quality, very good to take anywhere. Whether it's to the beach for a day at the park or even a speedboat ride.

We have several school events that require us to play music in an outside venue. We were using the two of the large Ion PA speakers and found that they were not strong enough to broadcast loud enough for everyone to hear. We bought two of these Bose speakers and they are more than twice as expensive as what we were using, but they are TWICE as good and do the job very, very well. In fact, we were afraid the neighbors would complain that it was too loud. We are very happy with the purchase and would recommend this without hesitation.

Well balanced sound small setup with full sound. Can be used as a streamer set-up (yes I promise it works), karaoke or even playing a quick jam session. Wish the wireless attachments had better quality or lower price since there are many alternatives that exist.

This is a good quality unit that can cover a pairly big room for 50 pax. Good sound balance and power.

You will not believe how loud and clear this speaker is, Bass and everything. Someone was playing one of these while I was in Dominican Republic at the pool at a resort and security approach them to turn it down.

This is a great little PA system if you get it for the right purpose and test it before hand. I regularly host trivia nights in a bar that is about 2,800 sqft with 100+ people talking and drinking. This is not quite up to that task as the space is too large and the other people too noisy to overpower with this small of a speaker. However, if the space were smaller or the people quieter (like in a coffee shop rather than a sports bar). The controls for the PA are very simple and minimalistic. Each channel is controlled by a single knob which you press to switch between volume, treble, bass, and reverb. If you hold the button for a few seconds, there are other more technical specs that you can adjust. In my personal experience, as this was not strong enough to use exclusively for my hosting responsibilities, I tried to run it as a second speaker with a line taking the signal from the main PA. THIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE. For some reason, running a line from another PA into the input on this results in immediate feedback if the volume is above about 25% on either system. However, if you plug the microphone into this Sony PA and run a line to another system, no feedback and everything works. I have no explanation for this other than to say, test your system for the purpose you need before expecting to take it out in public.

Great for both outdoor and indoor use. I pair it with my phone or projector using Bluetooth and it works perfectly every time.

It gives you that true crisp high base loud sound. Great speaker.
