Bose is still the top dog, this speaker cranks so clear and so beautifully. The sound can go really loud and keep the clarity in the vocals and has an amazing bass. Worth the buy

As of writing this review, the app support wasn't fully functional. As that is an important aspect for usage, I will look to report back when that can be tested. Previous to using this model, I was using a S1Pro, and this is indeed a nice upgrade. While the sound is similar(good thing) the overall usage has been upgraded and streamlined and sound is still amazing and room filling. The first notable is the buttons and everything they are assigned to. While I like manual controls, they can be cumbersome when there are several sound elements to adjust. The digital select and tweak minimizes multiple knobs and relies on selectable modes. I can quickly scroll through the settings, get what I need and adjust with one knob. For my uses, it really does work well for quick adjusting. Secondly, the battery is included(!) and great thus far. Many hours in without the need to top off. Finally, I really dig having the cut-outs for the optional audio receivers. They fit snugly into the receiver charging and ready to go when needed. Everything needed in one unit. For the cost of the original S1Pro and optional battery, you can snag the Pro+ with included battery and overhauled functionality. Definitely the better choice. My only concern is once the app functionality kicks in, the S1Pro and the S1Pro+ won't be able to wirelessly chain. That is a letdown, but I cannot confirm as of yet. But, you can daisy chain via unbalanced connection, so if needed, that will be the way to get the party moving.

Excellent sound system that can be used by itself or pair up through the bose app. Really easy to pair with mic bose transmitter. Transmitters for the microphones battery life is short. however, so I would recommend to have extra to replace if using wireless mics.

I’m posted overseas in the Dominican Republic, so I needed a portable speaker to take with me to the beach - a common thing to do here in the D.R. When I say I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, I mean I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This baby is loud and clean with plenty of thump! Our area is always the life of the party. If you’re thinking about buying one of these, stop thinking and go out and purchase one today. You won’t regret it!

I purchased two of the Bose S1 Pro+ Portable Wireless PA System along with the Bose Wireless Microphone System, and overall I’ve been extremely happy with the setup. When using a single S1 Pro+, this is easily a 5-star product. The sound quality is excellent, the portability is fantastic, battery life lasts a long time, and the wireless microphone system works great with no feedback issues at all. Everything feels polished and professional. The only reason I’d rate the pair closer to 4.5 stars instead of 5 is because pairing two speakers together through the app can be frustrating and confusing at times. Once I got everything connected, the system worked well, but the setup process could definitely be smoother. One thing that also caught me off guard was that when using one speaker as the primary unit and connecting the second speaker through the fixed line out, changing the volume only affects the primary speaker. I eventually figured it out, but it wasn’t very intuitive initially. As far as sound goes, the system performs incredibly well overall. The only area where it feels slightly limited is bass response, especially for larger spaces or fuller music playback. Because of that, I added a subwoofer to my setup, and that completed the system nicely. Despite the pairing learning curve, I still highly recommend the Bose S1 Pro+ system. It’s portable, reliable, sounds excellent, and works especially well for live vocals, events, and mobile setups.

This PA system is excellent quality and has superior sound. It sounds great for using at banquet halls. Battery life cycle lasts about 11 hours! You can sync 2 speakers to cover more area! The Bose app is also very easy to use to operate the PA system controls via Bluetooth.

Very loud! I love it! I use this as a standalone speaker for vocal when karaoking. I run the vocals to this speaker and then I run YouTube karaoke songs through my receiver and surround speakers. There's no lag that I can tell and if there is, you absolutely can not tell. I really like that the volume and echo can all be done separately. I have a mixer that did that before also but I was having issues with the speakers producing static when the vocals were too high or when people were screaming into the mic. What I iike most about this setup is that I can have wireless mics, control directly on the product, and the sound is really clear and crisp. This saved me from having to mic separate wireless adapters for the mics (which I have bought but they lagged big time and you couldn't be too far away), and I didn't have to buy brand new speakers to support the loud mics when people sing loud or scream. Even though this product is spendy, for my setup, it was well worth it.

So far so good! It's very easy to comnect through phone (bluetooth), very loud (I can definitelyhear it in between rooms/walls even at low setting), easy to charge, and long-lasting. It also has a handle on top so you have an easy grip- given that it's quite a bit of weight. Overall, amazing purchase.

I loved this speaker, sound is really clear and you can not imagined how loud it will because its tiny size. I like the fact that I can plug microphone so we can use it as a karaoke speaker. For my experience Bose never disappoint you.

I like the new design and connectivity. I own S1 Pro since 2019 and really love it. So I decide to have another model. S1 Pro+ meets my all requirements

I have always been a fan of Bose, and this product is another reason why. When I first used this, I felt every bit of every song I listened to (bass, miss, treble, melodic tunes, etc). Also the external device inputs (for microphone or instrument) work just great! The audio that comes out the speaker is crisp. The design, display, and features are also sleek and user friendly. Would definitely recommend!

I'm not a musician. I'm a person who is not intimidated by tech and was voluntold to put together the PA (and laser shows) for a small local community. I've been doing this for several years, but my equipment was cheap, barely worked, and it took much work to get everything running at once. This Bose speaker is so, so much better and easier to put together. My work has awards that are like 'green stamps'; I saved them up to buy this. It's making my life so much easier. I volunteer enough without spending hours on setup, verification, and teardown. This definitely sounds better, works better, is easier to set up, and is more compact. It's expensive, but I had at least that much money in individual pieces of equipment that I can replace with this. I'd wish I'd started with this. Anyway, if your time is worth anything, then a piece of quality equipment like this is probably cheaper in the long run.

Bought this for primarily outdoor use for special events. Worked very well for outdoor audience of about 500. Easy to use and transport. Bought two cordless mics with wireless battery packs. Each worked for about 3-3.5 hours. That was enough for us.

I initially thought this was too pricey, but after testing it I’ve concluded it is an excellent powered speaker. I like that it can be used without a soundboard, which makes it perfect for taking it to outdoors gigs, where the battery comes in handy and it has all the connections you need, including Bluetooth and aux.

I am very pleased with the sound quality and the ease of connecting to the speaker via Blue Tooth. I highly recommend this speaker. Its light weight and compactness makes it very easy to transport, setup and break down.

Fantastic sound; tremendous bass response, a ton of volume, and easily connects. Love the wireless mic connections!
