Clear and powerful sound. Can be synched with other speakers as well! The Bose S1 Pro is a versatile, portable PA system with excellent sound quality. This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. The system itself is a powerfull speaker that will bring quality and precision to any music sets. I was able to connect my pioneer DJ system directly and didnt even have to put on the full volume. The systems base and sound came out clear. The bluetooth connection to my phone was fast and easy however, I would always recommend a hard wire connection. The life on the speaker is well over 11 hours and is extremely lightweight. The new additions made to the speaker inlcudes a wireless adapter for a mic, although it's a bit pricey, I recommend the add ons if doing karaoke. Very well, defintion between tones and base. If your on edge, make the Jump!

As of writing this review, the app support wasn't fully functional. As that is an important aspect for usage, I will look to report back when that can be tested. Previous to using this model, I was using a S1Pro, and this is indeed a nice upgrade. While the sound is similar(good thing) the overall usage has been upgraded and streamlined and sound is still amazing and room filling. The first notable is the buttons and everything they are assigned to. While I like manual controls, they can be cumbersome when there are several sound elements to adjust. The digital select and tweak minimizes multiple knobs and relies on selectable modes. I can quickly scroll through the settings, get what I need and adjust with one knob. For my uses, it really does work well for quick adjusting. Secondly, the battery is included(!) and great thus far. Many hours in without the need to top off. Finally, I really dig having the cut-outs for the optional audio receivers. They fit snugly into the receiver charging and ready to go when needed. Everything needed in one unit. For the cost of the original S1Pro and optional battery, you can snag the Pro+ with included battery and overhauled functionality. Definitely the better choice. My only concern is once the app functionality kicks in, the S1Pro and the S1Pro+ won't be able to wirelessly chain. That is a letdown, but I cannot confirm as of yet. But, you can daisy chain via unbalanced connection, so if needed, that will be the way to get the party moving.

Bought this for primarily outdoor use for special events. Worked very well for outdoor audience of about 500. Easy to use and transport. Bought two cordless mics with wireless battery packs. Each worked for about 3-3.5 hours. That was enough for us.

I have always been a fan of Bose, and this product is another reason why. When I first used this, I felt every bit of every song I listened to (bass, miss, treble, melodic tunes, etc). Also the external device inputs (for microphone or instrument) work just great! The audio that comes out the speaker is crisp. The design, display, and features are also sleek and user friendly. Would definitely recommend!

I’m posted overseas in the Dominican Republic, so I needed a portable speaker to take with me to the beach - a common thing to do here in the D.R. When I say I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, I mean I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This baby is loud and clean with plenty of thump! Our area is always the life of the party. If you’re thinking about buying one of these, stop thinking and go out and purchase one today. You won’t regret it!

So far so good! It's very easy to comnect through phone (bluetooth), very loud (I can definitelyhear it in between rooms/walls even at low setting), easy to charge, and long-lasting. It also has a handle on top so you have an easy grip- given that it's quite a bit of weight. Overall, amazing purchase.

I initially thought this was too pricey, but after testing it I’ve concluded it is an excellent powered speaker. I like that it can be used without a soundboard, which makes it perfect for taking it to outdoors gigs, where the battery comes in handy and it has all the connections you need, including Bluetooth and aux.

Worth every penny. I already have Bose S1 Pro, but still my new purchase S1 pro plus stands out a lot in terms of quality improvement, bass depth, and advanced features like USB-C interface to use pro plus as an audio interface as well. Control knobs are now made digital which reduced clutter of previous knobs. Overall I feel my involvement on this product is 2x worth

I'm not a musician. I'm a person who is not intimidated by tech and was voluntold to put together the PA (and laser shows) for a small local community. I've been doing this for several years, but my equipment was cheap, barely worked, and it took much work to get everything running at once. This Bose speaker is so, so much better and easier to put together. My work has awards that are like 'green stamps'; I saved them up to buy this. It's making my life so much easier. I volunteer enough without spending hours on setup, verification, and teardown. This definitely sounds better, works better, is easier to set up, and is more compact. It's expensive, but I had at least that much money in individual pieces of equipment that I can replace with this. I'd wish I'd started with this. Anyway, if your time is worth anything, then a piece of quality equipment like this is probably cheaper in the long run.

I am very pleased with the sound quality and the ease of connecting to the speaker via Blue Tooth. I highly recommend this speaker. Its light weight and compactness makes it very easy to transport, setup and break down.

This Bose speaker was just what I was looking for. It is small and lightweight. It has two microphone/instrument inputs and an AUX input each with its own volume control. The sound quality is excellent. I also like the ability to use it with the battery only. I have always had enough hours of use without having to plug it in. Highly Recommended
