Glass top is a gorgeous design add on. Typical Bose, doesn't play well with all audio formatting. Dolby Atmos is soon to be added on. Overall I love my Bose and I had the opportunity to choose another popular brand but I know what Bose delivers in the long run.

Bose has been around for quite some time and I think they used to have an edge over their competition but that doesn't appear to be the case in todays day and age. This soundbar has the clarity you'd expect from a Bose but doesn't offer very much beyond that. To my ears it sounded very one dimensional and flat. The sound stage was very wide but if I was in any position other than sitting down with the soundbar positioned at ear level the sound wasn't immersive at all. I will say the fit and finish of the soundbar is fantastic but I bought this to listen to not to stare at.

If the most modern audio codec is not important to you, this setup would not be your worst choice. I have no issue with sound quality and for a soundbar it's impressive.
