Bose 900 - A significant step down for Bose
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have owned many Bose products over the years and had enjoyed their quality. However, the 900 soundbar has been an enormous disappointment. Upon receipt of the product, it did not work properly, and Bose replaced it. The replacement is difficult to use, and relatively poor sound quality, particularly with streamed music. My wife and I are musicians, recording artists and music producers and so, are well familiar with quality audio. I would not recommend this product.

Soundbar

Years after purchase, Bose write and says that the base module could burn down my home and IF I send it in, they'll give me 40% off this Soundbar. So you might want to consider a company that backs their product 100%. Take a look at Sonos. Better engineered, better sound.

Thank you for posting. The safety and satisfaction of our customers is Bose's highest priority and we are committed to making this right. A voluntary recall of bass modules manufactured before April 1, 2006 that were sold with select Acoustimass, Lifestyle and Companion home theater systems was conducted. As part of the repair, we will replace the electrical components at issue with replacement components that do not create a risk of a potential fire hazard. Constant issues
