Over priced 21st century trash by Bose

It's has random connection issues to a point that i just turn it off if it's a day where it decides it's not going to work that day, it's just not worth the hassle. Sound wise it's comparable to my vizio system that is around 10 years old and cost less than $200 which shows that todays products are being cheaply made. Years ago bose products felt special but this is nothing special especially for how much it costs, it's simply not worth the price tag, not at all. Even the remote control is the most annoying control i have ever used. If i had the time i would gladly sell it because it has done nothing but annoy me.

Depending on connection issues you're having with the TV, we would recommend looking at both the TV and Soundbar settings for CEC. Please refer to your TV manual for making sure the TV settings are correct, to adjust the Soundbar CEC settings please refer to our guide here https://bose.life/3FCPyXZ.
Sound quality can also be adjust by settings on the TV, or the source device. Making sure these are set to Dolby Atmos, TrueHD, Digital Plus, or Digital to ensure you're going to get the right sound for the TV show or film your watching. I’m pleased with the result. I didn’t have an opportunity to listen to the ambio that reviewers give high praises but can’t imagine the cost difference being worthwhile. Watching TV today, I could hear background noises and conversations with such clarity that I was amazed. I will add the optional rear speakers after I update my television in a few months. My only complaint is that it doesn’t integrate as seamlessly as my old sound bar.

Beware no YouTube music

For a smart speaker that offers Google Assistant to not have the ability to stream YouTube music is extremely disappointing. I would have gone a different route had I known. Until Bose gets with the times this will be the last of their products that I buy.

Whilst YoutubeMusic is currently not a supported integrated application in the Bose Music app, Bose has prioritized the addition of Chromecast Built-in as a supported feature of our Smart Speaker & Soundbar product line – and this feature is coming soon. We would recommend checking Bose.com for updates on its availability. Until that time, customers looking to play sources that are not integrated music service should utilize the Bluetooth or Apple Airplay feature included in all current Smart Speakers & Soundbars.”

Limited audio experience for Google Home users!

BOSE wants your money for their products and make it impossible for you to integrate with your already, in-place Google Home. Very upset with the amount of money to not have an integrated audio experience. BB knew we were android and Google Home users and never mentioned this shortfall!
